Your questions about corporate Mexican catering in Chilton

What’s the nearest station to Chilton for guests?

Guests can use Ramsgate station, about 0.9 miles north-east of Chilton.

How far is Chilton from central London?

It’s about 65 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Can you cater for all our staff’s diets?

We can. There are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free diets, plus allergen information for every dish.

What access do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a picture and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

Can guests build their own tacos?

Yes. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

How big an event can you cater?

Our truck and trailer service generally suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Send us your numbers and we will advise.

Do you clear up afterwards?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we’ll talk it through.

Corporate Mexican catering for your work event in Chilton

A lunch of tacos or burrito bowls is quick and filling, and a build-your-own taco bar suits longer breaks. Popular choices include tacos, a build-your-own taco bar and nachos to share, which works well for training days and end-of-year and Christmas parties.

Around Chilton, team days can be at rural venues or the office. A food truck can work at any of them, given access. We’ll check the space, access and power with you before the day, so set-up goes smoothly.

Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Here’s how you can help:

  • Add a diet question to the sign-up form
  • Ask facilities what documents they need from us

We keep our serving area tidy and contained.

What we need at the venue

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but there are a few things to check:

  • Facilities approval and any site rules
  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise.

Corporate Mexican catering or something else?

A plated meal needs a kitchen and a big team. We bring our own kitchen, needing a suitable spot, access and approval from the site. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, because it needs no venue kitchen. Ask us for a quote.

Why book with us

  • Quoted for your event
  • Fast service, even with a queue
  • Options for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests

What happens on the day

It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, set up our truck or trailer, and get on with serving. An end-of-May team evening in Chilton stays light until about 8:45pm, and by late September it is about 7:00pm. Plan the timings with the daylight in mind.

  1. You send us the date, venue, headcount, timings and dietary needs.
  2. We confirm a menu and a quote, plus any documents the site needs from caterers.
  3. We agree access, parking, power and water with facilities.
  4. We set up and serve your team on schedule.
  5. After service, we clear our area and leave it tidy.

Preparing for the day

What affects the price in Chilton

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Travel, parking and access
  • The number of people
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Whether you need disposables

Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone has to serve all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
