It’s easy for work catering to leave people out. We plan gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options, with allergen information for every dish, so everyone eats together. It works well for training days and client hospitality, with quesadillas, a build-your-own taco bar and tacos.

Teams near Deadwater often go for an outdoor lunch or summer party. Let us know about the site, parking and power. We will check the space, access and power with you before the day, so set-up goes smoothly.

How we price corporate Mexican catering

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • Guest numbers
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Whether you add a drinks bar or food
  • Your choice of food and drinks

When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we will set out what’s included.

What we need to know

When you contact us, it helps to tell us:

  • Where the event is
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
  • Your date and when you want service to start

We quote for each event separately, so the price fits what you actually want. For a quote, send us your details through our quote form.

Dietary needs and planning tips

Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:

  • Send us totals for each diet and any serious allergies
  • Add a diet question to the sign-up form
  • Check the site allows a food truck or trailer
  • Spread lunch times across departments

If timings change on the day, tell us and we will adapt.

A taco bar for longer breaks.

Corporate Mexican catering or something else?

Buffet food sits out. Tacos and bowls go out hot from the hatch. The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we will quote.

What you get with us

  • Book food, drinks or both
  • Allergen information for everything we serve
  • A menu agreed with you
  • Quoted for your event

The process

It’s a relaxed, well-organised set-up. Arrival and serving times are agreed beforehand, get the serving area ready, and get on with serving. December events in Deadwater are in the dark from about 4:00pm, so plan lighting around the truck or trailer. Summer events have daylight until around 9:20pm.

  1. You send us the date, venue, headcount, timings and dietary needs.
  2. You get a suggested menu, a quote and the paperwork your venue asks for.
  3. We agree access, parking, power and water with facilities.
  4. We set up and serve your team on schedule.
  5. We clear away as soon as service ends.

Before we arrive

  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer

Planners, venues and businesses

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We’ll provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.

Deadwater questions

Do you come to events in the Surrey Hills National Landscape?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

Which station is closest to Deadwater?

Guests can use Liphook station, about 3.6 miles south-east of Deadwater.

Can you do dairy-free food?

Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need dairy-free food, and we will include them in the plan.

What do you serve?

Mexican street food: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Do you provide drinks?

Yes, we offer a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. Alcohol at an event may need a licence, such as a premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice, so we will check the licensing with you.

Do you provide allergen information for each dish?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Is the food very hot?

It is up to you: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.

Can you send documents to our venue?

Send us the venue’s requirements.

Before you choose a spot

The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We look for:

  • Sign-off from facilities for a catering vehicle
  • A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours
  • Room for a queue in front of the serving hatch

If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before booking.
