Planning an event in Belvedere?

Mexican catering for your event in Belvedere

We plan each menu with the client, with fillings such as slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, alongside vegan choices such as black beans or spiced mushrooms. For big birthday celebrations and school fairs and fundraisers, we can serve a build-your-own taco bar, tacos and fresh salsas and guacamole and more.

Around Belvedere, parking and loading are the main things to plan for a truck or trailer. Narrow streets and permit bays decide where we can stop, so tell us about a driveway, a courtyard or whether a parking suspension is needed when you ask for a quote. All of Greater London, Belvedere included, is inside the ULEZ. Timings are planned around your event, so service starts when you want it.

Before you choose a spot

We will agree the spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Permission from the venue or landowner
  • A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
  • Room for a serving table for the taco bar

As a London location, Belvedere is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: tell us about parking bays, permits, a driveway or whether a parking suspension is needed.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.

Common questions in Belvedere

Which station is closest to Belvedere?

The closest is Belvedere station, roughly 0.5 miles away.

Could you serve in Lesnes Abbey Woods?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we’ll help with the information they need from us.

What do you need at the venue?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

Is the food very hot?

That’s your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side.

What do you serve?

Every menu is agreed with you. Fillings might include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. See our menu for ideas.

What about power on site?

It depends on the event and the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Let us know whether there’s a supply near where we will park.

Can you plan for allergies?

Our menus are planned with allergies in mind, nut allergies included, and give allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we cannot promise anything is completely allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?

Yes, a taco bar is one of the ways we serve. Tell us about your space and numbers and we will suggest the best set-up.

Planning for every diet

We take diets and allergies seriously. Here’s how you can help:

  • Include at least one vegan filling
  • Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed
  • Collect dietary needs when guests reply
  • Give us separate numbers for children

We arrive early enough to set up calmly. Someone from the venue just needs to point us to the agreed spot.

Burrito bowls suit guests who’d rather skip the tortilla.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

A DIY taco night works well for a small group. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

Prices and what affects them

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, depending on:

  • What the venue already provides
  • The menu you choose
  • How many staff you need
  • Food, drinks or both

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

What to tell us

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but these help:

  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • Your menu ideas
  • The date and rough timings

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. When you’re ready, fill in our quote form.

Occasions we cater for in Belvedere

People like choosing their own toppings, and a taco bar soon becomes a talking point while they queue.

Big or small, a truck or trailer works well. Common bookings include:

  • Charity and school events
  • Wedding breakfasts and evening food
  • Leaving dos and retirement parties
  • Fairs and festivals

  • VAT, if it applies
  • What happens if it rains

Questions to ask before you book

Comparing your options

A cold buffet is simple but tends to sit out for hours. Tacos and burritos are made to order and served hot. There’s no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican catering. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

Why us?

  • A truck or trailer that comes to you
  • Quick, friendly service from the hatch
  • A clear quote

How it works

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we’ll help you choose a spot with room for a queue. Rain doesn’t typically stop us serving, but guests will need somewhere covered. From late May to late September, sunset in Belvedere moves from about 8:50pm to 7:05pm. Let us know if service will run after dark, and we’ll talk about lighting.

  1. You tell us the date, the venue, rough guest numbers and any dietary needs.
  2. We suggest a sample menu and send a quote for your event.
  3. Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve from the truck or trailer, or from a taco-bar station.
  5. After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.
