Mexican catering near Bledington

Mexican catering in Bledington, from our truck or trailer

You can keep the menu short or make it a feast: tacos on their own, or tacos with burritos, nachos and quesadillas. Our Mexican drinks bar can be added too, with licensing checked with you. For charity and school events and christenings and family parties, we can serve loaded nachos, burrito bowls and quesadillas for your guests.

For a rural spot like Bledington, fields and drives need a little planning: gate widths, soft ground and the distance from the road all matter. Power and water may be limited, so we confirm the arrangements with you. Your quote sets out what’s included: the menu, the service time and any extras you choose.

Questions to ask before you book

Planners, venues and businesses

Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we’ll keep you updated on timings and set-up.

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

Diets, allergies and planning

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:

  • Tell us what other food is being served
  • Check that your venue allows outside caterers and vehicles
  • Think about cover for guests in wet weather
  • Let us know if a guest is coeliac

Allergen information is on hand for every dish.

Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added from our drinks bar.

What Mexican catering costs

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • The length of service
  • Food, drinks or both
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • What the venue already provides

Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there is no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

What to tell us

To check availability and price, we need:

  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • The address or venue name
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • A photo of the space, if it is a garden or field

Each quote is tailored to your event. Give us your date and numbers, and we’ll check availability at the same time.

Common questions in Bledington

Which station should guests use for Bledington?

Kingham station, about 0.6 miles east of the centre.

Do you come out to small places like Bledington?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

Can you run a bar?

Yes, we offer a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. Alcohol at an event may need a licence, such as a premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice, so we’ll talk licensing through with you.

How much space do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. Power and water arrangements are confirmed with each booking.

What if the weather’s bad?

Rain doesn’t usually stop service from the truck or trailer. It’s worth planning a covered area for guests, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.

Can you plan for allergies?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, and give allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we cannot promise a dish is allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.

What is mobile Mexican catering?

We arrive with our own mobile kitchen. We set up, serve your guests and clear away when service ends.

Is the food made fresh?

We cook to order in our food truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

Mexican catering or something else?

Sit-down meals need a kitchen, tables and more staff. Our truck or trailer brings its own kitchen, so we need a suitable spot, access and the venue’s permission, with power and water confirmed when you book. Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you can choose what you need.

Why book with us

  • Allergen information for every dish
  • A menu agreed with you
  • Served fresh from our food truck or trailer
  • Quoted for your event

Take a look at our prices page or the cost guide.

Planning the serving area

Everything is served from our truck or trailer, so the spot needs a little planning. These are the things we check:

  • A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
  • Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
  • Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise before you book.

Popular choices

Step by step

Service is quick and friendly: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. When service ends, we pack down. A December event in Bledington will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so a well-lit spot for the queue makes a big difference. At midsummer, the light holds until around 9:30pm.

  1. Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
  2. We plan a menu that covers every diet.
  3. We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
  4. Guests order at the hatch or build their own at the taco bar.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Before we arrive

  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
  • Find out what power and water are available
  • Let us know who to talk to on the day

Planning help

DIY taco night or a caterer?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
