Mexican catering in Farley Green, from our food truck or trailer

Keep it simple or go further: tacos on their own, or tacos with burritos, nachos and quesadillas. Our Mexican drinks bar can be added too, with licensing checked with you. It suits fairs and festivals and garden get-togethers, serving quesadillas, burritos and a build-your-own taco bar.

For a rural spot like Farley Green, fields and drives need a little planning: the gate, the ground and the route from the lane. We confirm power and water arrangements with you before the day. Organising for someone else?

If you’re planning an event on someone’s behalf, whether you’re a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we’re happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It keeps things simple.

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We will provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.

Can I do a taco night myself?

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

Common questions in Farley Green

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Cucknell's Wood?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.

We’re having a ceremony at St Michael: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

Do you provide drinks?

Yes, we offer a Mexican drinks bar, serving margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas such as hibiscus and horchata, and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we will check the licensing with you.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we check every dish and give allergen information.

How is the food prepared?

Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Do you need power and water?

Let us know what’s available on site, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we’ll confirm what we need with your quote.

How long are you on site?

It depends on your event. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you so everything fits your schedule.

How much is a food truck for an event?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas for a clear quote.

Perfect for your event in Farley Green

It handles mixed diets without fuss, since everyone picks their own fillings and toppings. Vegetarian and vegan guests get a proper meal, not an afterthought.

Whatever the occasion, the serving truck can be a highlight. We’re happy to cater:

  • Big birthday celebrations
  • Garden parties
  • Staff parties and office lunches
  • Leaving dos and retirement parties

A gathering in Cucknell's Wood would need the park owner’s say-so for any catering vehicle, and that is worth sorting out early.

Choosing a Mexican caterer

Planning the serving area

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but there are a few things to check:

  • Space for guests to queue
  • A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours
  • A spot for a taco-bar serving table

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise before booking.

Quesadillas

Quesadillas are simple and comforting.

Build-your-own taco bar

The taco bar keeps things sociable, and guests with different diets can choose what suits them.

Prices and what affects them

These are the factors that matter most:

  • Food, drinks or both
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Guest numbers
  • Serving staff

Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

Getting an accurate quote

We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what to include:

  • What power and water the site has
  • The date and time of the event
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers

We quote for each event separately, based on what you need. To ask for one, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Is Mexican catering right for your event?

Pizza and burger vans are familiar choices. Mexican street food stands out. Got a budget? Let us know, and we will suggest a menu to match. Even a simple menu can feel generous.

Why book with us

  • Allergen-aware menus
  • Service planned around your numbers
  • Menus for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests
  • Set-up planned with you and your venue

How it works

Service is quick and friendly: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. When service ends, we pack down. In Farley Green, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so summer evening events are usually served in daylight. For winter events, when it’s dark by about 3:55pm, plan lighting where guests queue and eat.

  1. Begin with the date, the place and the numbers.
  2. We come back with menu ideas and a quote.
  3. Closer to the day, we confirm timings and arrangements.
  4. At the agreed time, service starts from the truck or trailer.
  5. When you’re done, we pack away.

Before we arrive

  • Let us know the timings for the day
