- A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours
If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise before you book.

Mexican catering in Halfway, from our food truck or trailer
A build-your-own taco bar is one of the most sociable ways to feed a crowd. Everyone builds their own tacos from what’s laid out, so each plate is exactly how they like it. We serve burritos, fresh salsas and guacamole and quesadillas, and it suits leaving parties and summer garden parties.
Somewhere as small as Halfway, a garden or field is often the venue. Country lanes, long drives and gates are fine if we know about them, and firm ground matters, especially after rain. We will check the space, access and power with you before the day, so set-up goes smoothly.

Your questions about Mexican catering in Halfway
Is Halfway close to London?
Roughly 57 miles from the centre of London, and we cover it.
Could you serve in Hamstead Marshall Park?
It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.
What happens if it rains?
We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.
What does Mexican catering cost?
The price depends on numbers, menu, service time and where your event is. Contact us for a quote.
When do you arrive?
We arrive in good time to set up before service. The length of service is agreed when you book, along with pack-down.
How does your Mexican catering work?
We park our truck or trailer at your venue and serve hot Mexican street food from it. A build-your-own taco bar is another option.
Do you have dairy-free options?
We can. We offer dairy-free options.
Do you give allergen information?
We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, and give allergen information for every dish. We plan carefully and keep options separate, though we cannot promise a dish is allergen-free. If a guest has a severe allergy, please talk to us before the event.
How it works
The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we’ll help you choose a spot with room for a queue. We can serve in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered. A December event in Halfway will be in the dark from about 4:00pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. In late June, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:25pm.
- Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
- Together we plan a menu around your guests’ diets.
- We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
- Food is served from the hatch or a taco-bar table.
- We clear our serving area when everyone is fed.
Preparing for the day
- Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
- Let us know who to talk to on the day
- Measure any gates or arches on the way in
