The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. Rain doesn’t usually stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. Around midsummer it stays light in Hempstead until about 9:15pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:00pm, so summer evening events are usually served in daylight.
