Mexican catering near High Brooms

Mexican catering in High Brooms, served fresh

Mobile Mexican catering means the kitchen comes to you: our truck or trailer parks at your venue and we serve hot food straight from the hatch. No kitchen is needed on site. At leaving dos and retirement parties and anniversaries and engagements, we will put together a menu of burrito bowls, tacos and a build-your-own taco bar.

In and around High Brooms, gardens and local halls are common choices. If access is tight or the ground is soft, we’ll plan around it. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.

How it compares

For food that feels relaxed but generous, tacos, burritos and nachos make a strong choice. Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

Why us?

  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both
  • Every guest catered for, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan included
  • A clear quote
  • A menu built around your guests

Take a look at how we price and what Mexican catering costs.

Planners, venues and businesses

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so everyone is served promptly. Tell us how long you have for food and drinks.

Can I do a taco night myself?

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Planning for every diet

Allergies and diets are taken seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Put any allergies in writing for us
  • Include at least one vegan filling
  • Collect dietary needs when guests reply
  • Tell us about coeliac guests, not just gluten-free preferences

Guests order at the hatch and we serve them there and then, so everything goes out hot.

Add our Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Where the truck can go in High Brooms

We’ll be honest if a space won’t work, and help find another spot. The main points are:

  • A route in that is wide and tall enough, with soft ground checked in advance
  • Room for a serving table for the taco bar
  • A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise.

What we offer

  • Loaded nachos
  • Build-your-own taco bar
  • Quesadillas
  • Burritos
  • Burrito bowls
  • Tacos

A closer look at the menu

Tacos

Soft tortillas, warmed and filled, finished with salsas and toppings. Fillings are agreed with you, such as carnitas, chicken tinga or spiced mushrooms.

Burritos and burrito bowls

A big flour tortilla wrapped round rice, beans, a filling and toppings, or served as a bowl instead.

What happens on the day

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. A December event in High Brooms will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. At midsummer, the light holds until around 9:20pm.

  1. First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
  2. We suggest a sample menu and send a quote for your event.
  3. We check access, power and water with you or the venue.
  4. On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our truck or trailer.
  5. After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.

Before we arrive

  • Confirm numbers and diets before the day
  • Tell us when you want service to start
  • Let us know who to talk to on the day

How to get a price

Your questions about Mexican catering in High Brooms

What’s the nearest station to High Brooms for guests?

Guests can use High Brooms station, which is right in High Brooms.

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Hilbert Woods?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

Can you set up at our venue?

We need level, firm ground or hardstanding, access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s permission. Power and water are confirmed with each booking.

Is the food suitable for children?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we’ll suggest mild options.

What if it rains?

The truck or trailer serves in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered to eat.

How does mobile Mexican catering work?

Our truck or trailer is a mobile kitchen. We set up, serve your guests and clear away when service ends.

Can you keep it mild?

That is your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side.

What’s on the menu?

Mexican street food and drinks: tacos and build-your-own taco bars, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too.
