Mexican catering in Hoe
About our Mexican catering in Hoe
Truck and trailer service generally suits around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case, so let us know how many you expect. At family celebrations and leaving parties, we will put together a menu of fresh salsas and guacamole, a build-your-own taco bar and quesadillas and more.
For a rural spot like Hoe, fields and drives need a little planning: gate widths, soft ground and the distance from the road all matter. Power and water may be limited, so we confirm the arrangements with you. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.
Diets, allergies and planning
Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included. To make it work smoothly:
- Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed
- Ask guests with severe allergies to talk to us before the event
- Include at least one vegan filling
- Have a covered area ready in case of rain
We work around your timings, and adapt if they move.
Burrito bowls are a good choice for anyone avoiding tortillas, and they’re easy to adapt for different diets.
Can I do a taco night myself?
Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Hoe: your questions answered
What’s the nearest station to Hoe for guests?
Gomshall station, about 1.1 miles north of the centre.
We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Mark: can you cater afterwards?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.
Do you take everything away?
We pack down and leave our area tidy. Tell us the venue’s rules on waste and clearing up and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.
What do you serve?
Mexican street food and drinks: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. We also run a Mexican drinks bar.
Can you cater in a back garden?
Yes, as long as there is access and a level, firm spot. Send us a photo of the access and the space, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
Can you run a bar?
Yes, we run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. Alcohol at an event may need a licence, such as a premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice, so we’ll check the licensing with you.
What are your prices?
We quote for each event, depending on numbers, menu, venue and timings. Contact us for a quote.
What access do you need?
A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, plus the venue’s permission. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
- Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
