About our Mexican catering in Knatts Valley
Every menu is agreed with you, with fillings such as slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, alongside vegan choices such as black beans or spiced mushrooms. We serve quesadillas, a build-your-own taco bar and fresh salsas and guacamole, and it’s a good fit for leaving parties and wedding breakfasts and evening food.
For a rural spot like Knatts Valley, fields and drives need a little planning: gate widths, soft ground and the distance from the road all matter. Power and water may be limited, so we confirm the arrangements with you. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.
Comparing your options
A plated meal needs a kitchen and a larger team. A food truck or trailer is its own kitchen, and needs a suitable spot, safe access and the venue’s agreement. Access, parking and the distance to your venue can affect the price, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

Catering an event in Knatts Valley
Knatts Valley is about 4 miles north-east of Sevenoaks, in Kent. We cater events at homes, gardens and venues in Knatts Valley. We cover all 922 towns and villages across Kent, from the larger towns to small villages. Our truck and trailer cover the area from Knatts Valley to London (about 19 miles away).
Close to Knatts Valley are historic houses such as Lullingstone Castle (2.8 miles north-west) and Knole House (5 miles south). If your event is at a historic house or estate, check its rules on outside caterers and vehicles early. When the service is at a church such as Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, the food usually happens elsewhere, at a field, hall or garden with room for the truck. Venues in and around the Kent Downs National Landscape, within about 3 miles of Knatts Valley, sometimes limit where vehicles can go. Ask yours about access for a truck or trailer before booking.
This part of Kent takes in TN15, so your event can be anywhere in it. Local streets include Knatts Lane and Knatts Valley Road; for an event at home on any of them, tell us where the truck or trailer can park. We also serve at events in East Hill (1 mile north-west), Woodlands (1 mile south), Romney Street (1 mile west), West Kingsdown (1 mile north-east) and Cotman's Ash (1 mile south). Within a short drive, we also cover Maidstone (13 miles east), Dartford (8 miles north), Sevenoaks (4 miles south-west), Royal Tunbridge Wells (14 miles south), Gravesend (9 miles north-east) and Tonbridge (9 miles south).
Other landmarks nearby include Sevenoaks Hospital (3.9 miles south-west) and Kemsing Castle Bank (2 miles south-west).
Knatts Valley: your questions answered
Which station should guests use for Knatts Valley?
Guests can use Kemsing station, about 2.5 miles south of Knatts Valley.
We’re having a ceremony at Church of Saint Mary the Virgin: can you cater afterwards?
Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.
Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?
Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Let us know how many vegetarian and vegan guests to expect, and we’ll keep their options separate.
Do you provide plates and napkins?
That is confirmed with each quote. Tell us whether your venue has crockery or you’d prefer disposables.
What’s on the menu?
Tacos and taco bars, plus burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas. See our sample menu.
How long do you serve for?
We arrive in good time to set up before service. Serving times are agreed with you in advance.
What’s on the menu?
We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings could include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. See our menu for ideas.
How much does Mexican catering cost?
We quote for each event, depending on numbers, menu, venue and timings. For a price, use our quote form.
What affects the price in Knatts Valley
These are the factors that matter most:
- Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
- What the venue already provides
- How many staff you need
- The menu you choose
When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.
Details that help
The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Try to include:
- Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
- The date and rough timings
- Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
- Diets and allergies you know about
A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. To send your details, send a quick message through our quote form.
How the day works
On the day, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we have agreed, so everything runs to your schedule. A December event in Knatts Valley will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. At midsummer, the light holds until around 9:20pm.
- First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
- We suggest a sample menu and send a quote for your event.
- Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
- On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our truck or trailer.
- After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.
Before we arrive
- Tell us what power and water the site has
- Give us a contact for the day
- Tell us about narrow gates or low branches

Planning for every diet
Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. Our advice:
- Put guests with severe allergies in touch with us early
- Put any allergies in writing for us
- Give us separate numbers for children
- Add a dietary question to your RSVP
When service ends, we pack down and clear our area.
Quesadillas go down well with children.
Working with your venue
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.
Hosting a party at home? Send us a photo of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.
Should I do it myself?
Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.
