Mexican catering in North Fareham

Diets, allergies and planning

Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:

  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP
  • Plan somewhere covered for guests to eat if it rains
  • Include at least one vegan filling
  • Put any allergies in writing for us

For a taco bar, we lay the fillings, salsas and toppings out on a table, and guests help themselves while we keep it topped up.

Burrito bowls suit guests who’d rather skip the tortilla.

How our Mexican catering works in North Fareham

Tacos are the heart of the menu: warm tortillas with your choice of fillings, plus fresh salsas, guacamole and toppings. We can add burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas. At christenings and family parties and fairs and festivals, we will put together a menu of a build-your-own taco bar, loaded nachos and tacos for your guests.

For a rural spot like North Fareham, fields and drives need a little planning: the gate, the ground and the route from the lane. We confirm power and water arrangements with you before the day. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

Prices and what affects them

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Staff for serving and the bar
  • The menu you choose
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery

A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.

What we need to know

You do not need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • Where the event is
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • A picture of where we’d park

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. For a quote, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Questions to ask before booking

Your questions about Mexican catering in North Fareham

What’s the nearest station to North Fareham for guests?

Fareham station, about 1.3 miles south-west of the centre.

Do you cater in villages like North Fareham?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

How much does Mexican catering cost?

Every event is quoted for individually, depending on numbers, menu, venue and timings. Contact us for a quote.

Do you cater in North Fareham?

Yes. We cover London and the South East, including North Fareham and the rest of Hampshire. For a quote, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Can you do gluten-free food?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

Which areas do you serve?

We cover London and the South East, Hampshire included. Find your area.

Can you serve in the rain?

Rain does not generally stop service from the truck or trailer. It is worth planning a covered area for guests, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Our truck and trailer service usually suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Send us your numbers and we’ll advise.

The process

Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. In North Fareham, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, so summer evening events are usually served in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 4:00pm, so winter events need lighting around the truck and the queue.

  1. Start by telling us about your event.
  2. We suggest fillings and extras and send a quote.
  3. We agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. We arrive, set up and serve from the hatch.
  5. Once service ends, we clear away.

How to prepare

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Share the running order, including any speeches
  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
