Your questions about Mexican catering in Oakgrove
Is Oakgrove close to London?
Roughly 46 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.
Can you bring your truck or trailer to Campbell Park?
Only with permission from whoever runs the park, often the council. Check with them, and we will provide what they ask for from us.
What do you serve?
We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings might include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. See our menu for ideas.
Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?
We can. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from.
Is the food suitable for children?
Yes, children are welcome. Let us know numbers and ages, and we will suggest mild options.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes, gluten-free options are available, using corn tortillas. Let us know about coeliac guests in advance so we can talk through how their food is prepared. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?
How many guests can you cater for?
It depends on the event. As a guide, it is around 50 to 400 guests; tell us your numbers and we’ll take it from there.
What if it rains?
We can still serve in the rain. Plan a marquee, gazebo or indoor space for guests to eat in.
How it works
We get there well before you want to serve, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. Around midsummer it stays light in Oakgrove until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so summer evening events are normally served in daylight. For winter events, when it is dark by about 3:55pm, plan lighting where guests queue and eat.
- First, send us a few details about your event.
- We suggest fillings and extras and send a quote.
- We agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
- We arrive, set up and serve from the hatch.
- Once service ends, we clear away.
Getting ready for the day
