Mexican catering in Radclive, from our truck or trailer

We plan each menu with the client, with fillings such as slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, and vegan options like spiced mushrooms or black beans. It works well for wedding breakfasts and evening food and office lunches and team days, serving burritos, a build-your-own taco bar and loaded nachos.

In a hamlet or village like Radclive, your own garden or a neighbour’s field can make a good venue. Gates, verges and soft ground are worth mentioning when you enquire. Your quote sets out what’s included: menu, timings and any add-ons.

The process

On the day, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. We are ready to serve at the agreed time, so everything runs to your schedule. Around midsummer it stays light in Radclive until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so summer evening events are normally served in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm, so winter events need lighting around the truck and the queue.

  1. First, send us a few details about your event.
  2. You get a sample menu and a quote.
  3. Access, the serving spot, power and water are agreed in advance.
  4. On the day we park up, set up and serve hot food to order.
  5. Once service ends, we clear away.

Preparing for the day

  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Tell us when you want service to start

Getting a price

Why choose Mexican catering in Radclive?

Next to a hog roast or a barbecue, tacos make vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests easier to cater for, because fillings and toppings are kept separate. The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, since the set-up is much the same either way. Give us your numbers and we will quote.

Why us?

  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both
  • Everything served fresh from the hatch
  • A clear quote
  • A menu built around your guests

Questions from Radclive

Do you cater in villages like Radclive?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Tell us about lanes, gates, ground and parking.

Is Radclive close to London?

It is about 52 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Can you keep it mild?

We can keep it mild, and hotter salsas go on the side for guests who like heat.

Can we add a bar?

Our drinks bar can be added to any booking, with bar staff serving margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. Alcohol needs the right licence, so we will check that with you.

What areas do you cover?

We cover London and the South East, Buckinghamshire included. Find your area.

Do you do parties at home?

It depends on access. If the truck or trailer cannot reach the garden, a drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission. Send us a photo and we’ll talk it through.

How soon do we need to book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Even if it is short notice, it is worth asking.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Ask us when you enquire. Let us know what you already have, and we’ll set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.

What affects the price in Radclive

Each event is quoted on its own, based on a few main things:

  • What the venue already provides
  • Food, drinks or both
  • Travel, parking and access
  • The number of people

There is no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican catering. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Your quote sets it all out.

What to tell us

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • What power and water the site has
  • The venue or postcode
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • How we drive in and where we can park

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you actually want. To ask for one, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

Planning for every diet

A Mexican menu is easy to plan for mixed diets, because guests can choose what suits them. A few tips:

  • Let us know about any other food at the event
  • Confirm allergies by email before the event
  • Ask guests with severe allergies to talk to us before the event
  • Give us separate numbers for children

We have allergen information for every dish at the hatch.

Burrito bowls are a good choice for anyone avoiding tortillas, and they’re easy to adapt for different diets.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
