How we price Mexican catering
The price comes down to a few factors:
- How long we are needed on site
- How many guests we’re serving
- What’s on the menu
- Travel, parking and access
Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so tell us what you have in mind. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.
What to tell us
The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Please include:
- Roughly how many adults and children
- Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
- The address or venue name
- The date and rough timings
The quickest way to a quote is to send a quick message through our quote form. Tell us about your event in Rush Green, and we’ll put together a menu and price.
What happens on the day
Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. Evenings in Rush Green stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.
- Begin with the date, the place and the numbers.
- We come back with menu ideas and a quote.
- Closer to the day, we confirm timings and arrangements.
- At the agreed time, service starts from the truck or trailer.
- When you’re done, we pack away.
How to prepare
- Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
- Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
- Give us your final numbers and diets
How to get a price

The menu, item by item
Salsas and guacamole
The salsas and guacamole finish every plate, and guests add as much as they like.
Burritos and burrito bowls
Burritos are filling and easy to eat on the move. The bowl version suits anyone avoiding tortillas.
DIY taco night versus a caterer
If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.
For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.

Space, access and the venue
If a space isn’t suitable, we will tell you, and help find another spot. What matters most:
- A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours
- The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
- Room for a serving table for the taco bar
As a London location, Rush Green is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

FAQs for Rush Green
We’re having a ceremony at St Augustine of Canterbury Church: can you cater afterwards?
Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.
Can you bring your truck or trailer to Harrow Lodge Park?
It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.
Do you cater for big events?
It depends on the event. As a guide, it’s around 50 to 400 guests; tell us your numbers and we will take it from there.
How is the food prepared?
Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.
Do you give allergen information?
Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). For severe allergies, please talk to us first.
When do you arrive?
We arrive in good time to set up before service. The length of service is agreed when you book, along with pack-down.
Do you have dairy-free options?
We can. Dairy-free options are part of our menus, and we will tell you which dishes contain milk.
Can you cater for special diets?
Yes. There are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests. Allergen information is available for every dish.
