Mexican catering near West End

What Mexican catering costs

We will give you a clear quote. The main things that affect it are:

  • How many staff you need
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Food, drinks or both
  • The length of service

Extras, such as more dishes, extra drinks or a longer service, are quoted on request, so you choose what goes in.

Getting an accurate quote

These details help us quote quickly:

  • The date and time of the event
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • Where the event is
  • Your menu ideas

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, plus any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just send a quick message through our quote form.

How our Mexican catering works in West End

We plan each menu with the client, with fillings such as slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, alongside vegan choices such as black beans or spiced mushrooms. Popular choices include burrito bowls, fresh salsas and guacamole and quesadillas, which works well for weddings, day or evening and big birthday celebrations.

Somewhere as small as West End, a garden or field is often the venue. Country lanes, long drives and gates are fine if we know about them, and firm ground matters, especially after rain. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests, with allergen information for everything we serve.

Planning for every diet

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:

  • Tell us about coeliac guests, not just gluten-free preferences
  • Plan somewhere covered for guests to eat if it rains
  • Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed
  • Include at least one vegan filling

If you’ve chosen a taco bar, the fillings, salsas and toppings go out on a serving table, and guests build their own.

Add our Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Where the truck can go in West End

We serve from a truck or trailer, so the spot needs a little planning. Here’s what we look for:

  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
  • Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before you book.

Planners, venues and businesses

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.

Common questions in West End

We are having a ceremony at St George's: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Do you cater in villages like West End?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Tell us about lanes, gates, ground and parking.

What access do you need?

The main things are access and a level spot: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a picture of the space and the way in.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

Please ask us. Tell us what your venue provides, and we’ll set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

What food and drinks do you offer?

Every menu is agreed with you. Fillings could include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. See our menu for ideas.

Where do you cater?

London and the South East: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire.

What happens if it rains?

The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

How the day works

It is a relaxed, well-organised set-up. We agree arrival and serving times in advance, get the serving area ready, and get on with serving. A December event in West End will be in the dark from about 3:55pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. In late June, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:20pm.

  1. First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
  2. You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
  3. Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our food truck or trailer.
  5. Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.

Before we arrive

  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
  • Ask the venue about power and water
