Mexican catering for World's End events

Mexican catering in World's End, served fresh

With mobile Mexican catering, we bring the kitchen with us: our truck or trailer parks at your venue and we serve hot food straight from the hatch. No kitchen is needed on site. Popular choices include fresh salsas and guacamole, burritos and quesadillas, and it is a good fit for retirement and leaving parties and engagement and anniversary parties.

In a hamlet or village like World's End, your own garden or a neighbour’s field can make a good venue. Mention gates and soft ground when you get in touch. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.

Popular choices

A burrito is a meal in one. Bowls suit guests who want to skip the tortilla.

Tacos

Warm tortillas with a choice of fillings, finished with salsas and toppings. Fillings such as carnitas, chicken tinga or spiced mushrooms are agreed with you.

How the day works

We take care of everything you’ve booked, from set-up to service, so you can enjoy your event. Around midsummer it stays light in World's End until about 9:25pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:10pm, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. For winter events, when it’s dark by about 4:00pm, plan lighting where guests queue and eat.

  1. Start by telling us about your event.
  2. You get a sample menu and a quote.
  3. Access, the serving spot, power and water are agreed in advance.
  4. We arrive, set up and serve from the hatch.
  5. We pack down after service and leave the area tidy.

Preparing for the day

Planning help

Should I do it myself?

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.

World's End: your questions answered

Do you come out to small places like World's End?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

How far is World's End from central London?

It is about 52 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Who clears up?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

Can you do dairy-free food?

We can. Dairy-free options are part of our menus.

When should we book?

As early as you can, especially for summer weekends. Ask about your date even if it is soon.

Can you cater for special diets?

We can. We plan vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests. We give allergen information for every dish.

How much will it cost?

We quote for each event, based on guest numbers, the menu, the venue and timings. Contact us for a quote.

Are plates and napkins included?

That is confirmed with each quote. Tell us whether your venue has crockery or you’d prefer disposables.

Who books Mexican catering in World's End?

You don’t need a kitchen, so gardens, fields and outdoor venues are all possible.

A truck or trailer works for big and small events alike. Common bookings include:

  • Retirement and leaving parties
  • Christenings and family parties
  • Festivals, fairs and markets
  • Fundraisers and school events

Guests leaving a church like Church of St Nicholas after a christening could walk over to a nearby garden where the tacos are ready.

Comparing your options

A drop-off platter is easy, but nobody remembers it. Hot food served from a truck feels like part of the event. What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so share your ideas with us. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest a menu.

Diets, allergies and planning

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Here’s how:

  • Plan a vegan filling as well as a vegetarian one
  • Think about cover for guests in wet weather
  • Let us know about any other food at the event
  • Let us know if a guest is coeliac

Food is served from the hatch, order by order, so everything goes out hot.

Add our Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas, with licensing checked with you.

What affects the price in World's End

Two events with the same number of guests can cost different amounts, depending on:

  • How many staff you need
  • Travel, parking and access
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • What the venue already provides

Larger events can cost less per head, since the set-up is much the same either way. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.
