How it works
The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we will help you choose a spot with room for a queue. Rain doesn’t normally stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. A summer drinks reception in St Ann's Green has daylight until about 9:15pm at midsummer, so evening drinks can be served in daylight. By late September, sunset is about 7:00pm, and in December it is dark by about 3:50pm, so plan lighting around the bar.

Planning help
DIY taco night versus a caterer
For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, with allergen information for every dish.
Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the serving.
For planners, venues and organisers
If you’re booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We can work with your facilities team on access and timings.
If you are organising for someone else, whether you are a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we’re happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.
