Dietary needs and planning tips
Nearly every event has some special diets. To cater well for them:
- Let the neighbours know
- Plan where rubbish goes
- Make sure most people can sit to eat
- Ask guests with serious allergies to talk to us first
We arrive before your guests to set up.
Loaded nachos to share as a starter.

Who books Mexican party catering in Bridgemary?
It brings a bit of holiday feeling to a garden party.
Big or small, a truck or trailer works well. Common bookings include:
- Housewarming parties
- Christenings and naming days
- Neighbourhood celebrations
- Birthday parties
Friends travelling without a car may like to know that the nearest station is Fareham station, about 2.5 miles north-west.

Should I do it myself?
Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.
Space, access and the venue
Many gardens, fields and venues can take a truck or trailer, but there are a few things to check:
- A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
- Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
- Space for guests to queue
Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.
How it compares
A home-made buffet takes hours to prepare and leaves food sitting out. Our food is cooked to order and served hot. Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so share your ideas with us. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

How the day works
Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. At midsummer, it’s light in Bridgemary until about 9:20pm, which gives a garden party a long evening. In late September it is dark by about 7:10pm; add lights for the evening.

Ask for a quote

Planning help
Bridgemary: your questions answered
We’re having a ceremony at St Matthew's: can you cater afterwards?
Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.
What’s the nearest station to Bridgemary for guests?
Guests can use Fareham station, about 2.5 miles north-west of Bridgemary.
What do you serve?
Mexican street food: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, plus salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.
Do you need electricity?
Tell us what the site has, for instance a supply from the venue, and we will confirm what we need with your quote.
Do you cook on site?
Food is cooked to order in our truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Fillings are slow-cooked beforehand and finished on site.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can for summer weekends. Ask about your date.
How far ahead should we book?
Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Even if it’s short notice, it is worth asking.
Can you serve in the rain?
We can keep serving from the truck or trailer in the rain, but your guests will want somewhere covered, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.
