Mexican party catering for Cadnam events

Mexican party catering for your party in Cadnam

Many gardens and drives can take a truck or trailer, if there is level, firm ground and a way in that is wide enough. Not sure? Send us a picture. At anniversaries and engagement parties and family get-togethers, we will put together a menu of loaded nachos, quesadillas and a build-your-own taco bar and more.

In a small place like Cadnam, a party in the garden or a nearby field is often the plan. Let us know about access and soft ground, and we’ll plan the set-up. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

Cadnam: your questions answered

Do you come out to small places like Cadnam?

Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.

We are having a ceremony at Church of St Mary: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Can you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Of course. We can include vegetarian and vegan fillings like black beans or spiced mushrooms, served alongside the meat options.

Can you cater in a back garden?

Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes.

Can you serve in the rain?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. Plan cover for guests, such as a marquee or gazebo, and let us know if the ground gets soft after heavy rain.

Can you keep it mild?

That is your choice: we can keep the main dishes mild, with hotter salsas served separately.

How early should we book?

As early as you can for summer weekends. Check your date with us.

Is Mexican food OK for kids?

Yes. Children typically enjoy quesadillas and simple tacos, and salsas go on the side. Include children in your numbers.

Why choose Mexican party catering in Cadnam?

If you want special but not formal, Mexican street food is hard to beat. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Planning a party in Cadnam

Cadnam is about 3 miles west of Totton, in Hampshire. We cater parties at homes, gardens and venues in Cadnam and nearby villages. We cover all 683 towns and villages in Hampshire, from the larger towns to small villages, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. Our truck and trailer cover the area from Cadnam to Southampton (8 miles away).

Once the service at a church like Church of St Mary is over, the party can move somewhere with space for the truck and a queue. If guests are coming by rail, Ashurst New Forest station is about 3.1 miles away. Cadnam is within about 4 miles of the New Forest National Park, so a garden party here may come with a lovely view. Country lanes can be narrow, so tell us about the route in.

Wherever your party is in SO40, we can bring the truck or trailer to your guests, from busy streets to quiet lanes. Local streets include Old Lyndhurst Road, White Hart Lane and Southampton Road; for a party at home on any of them, tell us where the truck or trailer can park. For parties just outside Cadnam, we cover Wittensford (1 mile west), Bartley (1 mile south-east), Copythorne (1 mile north-east), Newbridge (1 mile north) and Winsor (1 mile east). DIY taco night or a caterer?

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Catering for every guest

Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:

  • Ask guests about diets when you invite them
  • Plan where rubbish goes
  • Tell us how many children are coming
  • Check the width of your gate or drive

When you’re ready to eat, we start serving.

Bowls as an alternative to tacos.

Perfect for your party in Cadnam

It’s the easiest way to feed a party without being stuck in the kitchen, and the truck or trailer is a talking point.

If you are planning any of these, we can help:

  • Retirement celebrations
  • Garden get-togethers
  • Anniversaries and engagement parties
  • Street parties and neighbourhood get-togethers

Quesadillas

Quesadillas are simple and comforting.

Salsas and guacamole

Salsas go on the side, so guests choose the heat.

Prices and what affects them

Your quote will be clear. What affects it most:

  • The number of people
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • Whether you need disposables

Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

Getting an accurate quote

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what to include:

  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • The venue or postcode
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • The date and time of the event

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, plus any dietary needs, and you’ll get menu ideas and a price. To get started, fill in our quote form.

Before you choose a spot

Everything is served from our food truck or trailer, so the spot needs a little planning. Here’s what we look for:

  • A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours
  • A clear area in front of the hatch for a queue
  • Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

Popular choices

How the day works

The truck or trailer tends to draw a crowd, so we plan a spot with space for people to queue. We can serve in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered. A summer party in Cadnam stays light until about 9:25pm at midsummer, so a garden party can run well into the evening. By late September sunset is around 7:10pm, so plan festoon lights for later parties.

  1. We start by checking your date and the space.
  2. You choose fillings, sides and extras.
  3. Power, water and access are agreed in advance.
  4. Service starts at the agreed time.
  5. We pack away and the party carries on.

Before we arrive

  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
  • Tell us what power and water the site has

How to get a price

We quote for each event separately, based on what you need. For a quote, send us your details through our quote form.
