How we price Mexican party catering

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Plates, napkins and cutlery
  • Parking and the route in
  • Food, drinks or both
  • How long we are needed on site

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you can choose what you need.

Details that help

For a quote, it helps to have:

  • What power and water the site has
  • The address or venue name
  • Your menu ideas
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children

Most quotes start with a few simple details: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. Contact us for a quote: just tell us about it on our contact page.

How it compares

Ordering takeaway is easy but forgettable. A food truck at your party is something guests remember. Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

What we offer in Langley Green

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

What’s on the menu

Build-your-own taco bar

Warm tortillas, fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings laid out for guests.

Tacos

Tacos are easy party food. You choose the fillings with us.

Diets, allergies and planning

Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:

  • Have cover ready for a shower
  • Put severe allergies to us in writing
  • Let the neighbours know
  • Add a diet question to the invitation

We keep our serving area tidy and safe.

Nachos for sharing as a starter.

How the day works

Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. At midsummer, it’s light in Langley Green until about 9:20pm, so a garden party can run well into the evening. In late September it’s dark by about 7:05pm; add lights for the evening.

  1. Send us your date, where the party is, numbers and dietary needs.
  2. You get a sample menu and a quote for your party.
  3. Before the day, we check the space, the way in, power and water.
  4. We set up and serve tacos and more while your guests enjoy the party.
  5. We pack down after service so the party can carry on.

How to prepare

  • Let us know who to talk to on the day
  • Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
  • Share the running order, including any speeches

How to get a price

Send us the date, your venue or RH11 postcode and guest numbers, along with any dietary needs, and we will reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. To get started, tell us about it on our contact page.

Langley Green questions

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Grattons Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

We are having a ceremony at Voice of Deliverance Full Gospel Church of God: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself is not where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.

Can you serve in the rain?

The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

Can you do a kids’ option?

Of course. Quesadillas and simple tacos go down well with children, with salsas served separately. Tell us how many children are coming.

How many guests can you serve?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. Tell us your numbers and we will advise.

Can you plan for allergies?

We plan allergen-aware menus, including for nut allergies, and give allergen information for every dish. We keep options separate, but we can’t promise anything is completely allergen-free. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the event.

Do you come to Langley Green?

Yes, we do. We serve at events in Langley Green and across West Sussex. Tell us your date and we’ll check availability.

Can you cater in a back garden?

That depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Send us a photo and we’ll talk it through.

Working with your venue

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so guests are looked after quickly. Let us know how long the break is.
