Mexican party catering in Roke, served fresh

A Mexican party takes the food off your hands without turning the day into a formal dinner. Our food truck or trailer parks up and we serve hot food as the party goes on. Popular choices include guacamole and salsas, a build-your-own taco bar and tacos, which works well for garden parties and milestone birthdays.

Country parties near Roke suit a food truck or trailer: parked up on firm ground and serving from the hatch. Plan a gazebo for guests in case of rain. Everything is prepared fresh for your party and served from our food truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

For event organisers in Roke

Hosting a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.

Catering for every guest

With a little notice, most diets are easy. We suggest:

  • Check the width of your gate or drive
  • Give the neighbours a heads-up
  • Count adults and children separately
  • Put severe allergies to us in writing

We’re set up before guests arrive.

Why choose Mexican party catering in Roke?

Hog roasts do not suit vegetarians and vegans. Tacos cover everyone with separate fillings. Cost depends on guest numbers, the menu and the length of service, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

What Mexican party catering costs

Each event is quoted on its own, and the price depends on a few things:

  • Serving staff
  • Whether you need disposables
  • Timings and hours
  • Parking and the route in

Your choice of food and drinks affects the price, so share your ideas with us. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

What we need to know

A few details help us give you an accurate quote. Here’s what’s useful:

  • The date and time of the event
  • Your menu ideas
  • A photo of the space, if it’s a garden or field
  • Any dietary needs and allergies

A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. To send your details, drop us a line using the enquiry form.

FAQs for Roke

Do you come to events in the Chilterns National Landscape?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St Helen?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

Can you cater at a hired venue?

Often, yes. We need a suitable spot outside and the venue’s permission, with power and water confirmed when you book.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. Tell us your numbers and we will advise.

What do you need at the venue?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

What do you serve?

Mexican street food and drinks: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too.

Do you need electricity?

Let us know what’s available on site, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.

Can you cater for special diets?

We keep vegetarian and vegan fillings separate, and every dish is labelled. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the party.

Step by step

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we will help you choose a spot with room for a queue. Rain doesn’t usually stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. At midsummer, it is light in Roke until about 9:25pm, which gives a garden party a long evening. In late September it is dark by about 7:10pm; add lights for the evening.

  1. Send us your date, address and numbers.
  2. You get a menu and a quote.
  3. We confirm access, then arrive early on the day.
  4. Food is served from the hatch or the taco bar.
  5. We clear our area when service ends.

Before we arrive

  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers

DIY taco night versus a caterer

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
