DIY taco night or a caterer?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Is Mexican street food right for your event?

For a stall that adds atmosphere, tacos and burritos deliver. When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

Why book with us

  • Allergen information for every dish
  • Quoted for your event
  • Book food, drinks or both
  • Set-up planned with you and your venue

See our prices page or what Mexican catering costs.

How it works

We work to your timings. If things run behind, tell us and we will adjust the start of service where we can. At midsummer, events in St Mary Cray stay light until about 9:20pm, so evening trading usually finishes in daylight in high summer. For winter markets, dark by about 3:55pm, the pitch needs lighting.

  1. Organisers send us the event details, dates and pitch information.
  2. You get our stall menu, what we need at the pitch and the paperwork you request.
  3. We set up the truck or trailer on the pitch at the agreed time.
  4. We serve from the hatch through the trading times you set.
  5. When trading ends, we pack down and leave the pitch clean.

Before we arrive

  • Let us know the timings for the day
  • Measure any gates or arches on the way in
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
