Mexican catering across HP12
Mexican street food makes mixed diets simple. We plan vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests, and allergen information is available for every dish. On the menu are a build-your-own taco bar, quesadillas and burrito bowls, which works well for engagement celebrations and fundraisers and school events.
Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue.
- Send us your date, numbers and venue.
- We plan a menu that covers every diet.
- We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
- Food is served from the hatch or a taco-bar table.
- We clear our serving area when everyone is fed.

Booker: If you are celebrating after a service at a church like Church of Christ the Servant King, a truck or trailer parked at a hall or garden close by can serve the meal. Around Booker, historic houses include West Wycombe Park House (1.6 miles north) and Hughenden Manor (2.5 miles north-east). If your event is at a historic house or estate, check its rules on outside caterers and vehicles early. Daylight in Booker runs to about 8:55pm in late May and 7:05pm in late September. If your event carries on later, tell us what lighting the venue has.
What affects the price in HP12
We’ll give you a clear quote. What affects it most:
- Your choice of food and drinks
- Plates, napkins and cutlery
- Timings and hours
- Travel, parking and access
Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.
What to tell us
You do not need everything decided to ask for a quote, but it helps to know:
- Your date and when you want service to start
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers
- How we drive in and where we can park
- The venue or postcode
The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote: venue, timings, menu ideas and access. When you are ready, fill in our quote form.
Working with your venue
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we’ll work to it.
Organising a club, school or community event in HP12? A truck or trailer serves a crowd quickly, with options for most diets. Tell us about the event and we’ll suggest a menu.
Before you choose a spot
Before the day, we will agree where we park and serve. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:
- A clear area in front of the hatch for a queue
- A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours
- A route in that’s wide and tall enough, with soft ground checked in advance
Should I do it myself?
Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.
The menu, item by item
Build-your-own taco bar
A taco bar is relaxed and sociable, and it makes mixed diets easy.
Loaded nachos
Loaded nachos are perfect for sharing. Dairy-free versions can be planned.
HP12: your questions answered
Do you cook on site?
We cook to order in our truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.
Do you provide drinks?
Yes, we run a Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and soft drinks. Alcohol at an event may need a licence, such as a premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice, so we will check the licensing with you.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes, we offer gluten-free options, made with corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can talk through how their food is prepared.
How long do you serve for?
That depends on your event and menu. We agree arrival, service and pack-down times with you to suit your day.
What happens if it rains?
The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.
