Mexican catering across RM11

Keep it simple or go further: tacos on their own, or tacos with burritos, nachos and quesadillas. Our Mexican drinks bar can be added too, with licensing checked with you. It suits milestone birthdays and company summer parties, with fresh salsas and guacamole, loaded nachos and a build-your-own taco bar.

Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue.

  1. It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
  2. You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
  3. Together we confirm where the truck or trailer will park, plus power and water.
  4. On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our truck or trailer.
  5. After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.

Planning a food truck in RM11

Across RM11, we cater in 3 towns and 0 villages and hamlets, so whether your event is in Romford, Hornchurch and Gallows Corner or a quiet village, the approach is the same: access, level ground and a clear plan.

Heath Park: By rail: Gidea Park station is about 0.5 miles away. When the service is at a church such as Saint Alban Church of England, the food usually happens elsewhere, at a field, hall or garden with room for the truck. Events we cater in RM11

Tacos and burritos go down well with most crowds: familiar, filling and easy to eat wherever guests are.

We can help if you are planning any of the following:

  • Engagement celebrations
  • Family gatherings and christenings
  • Leaving dos and retirement parties
  • Office lunches and team days

What’s on the menu

Loaded nachos

Tortilla chips piled with cheese, a filling, salsa, guacamole and toppings, made for sharing.

Burritos and burrito bowls

A big flour tortilla wrapped round rice, beans, a filling and toppings, or served as a bowl instead.

Comparing your options

Sit-down meals need a kitchen, tables and more staff. A food truck or trailer is its own kitchen, so we need a suitable spot, access and the venue’s permission, with power and water confirmed when you book.

Questions to ask before booking

  • The venue requirements
  • What happens if it rains
  • A clear list of what’s included
  • How long the service runs

What affects the price in RM11

The price comes down to a few factors:

  • How many guests we’re serving
  • The length of service
  • Travel, parking and access
  • What the venue already provides

There’s no one-size-fits-all price for Mexican catering. A simple party menu and a full wedding day are very different jobs. Your quote sets it all out.

What we need to know

When you contact us, it helps to tell us:

  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • Your date and when you want service to start
  • What you’d like on the menu
  • The venue or postcode

A detailed enquiry gets a more accurate quote: the venue, the timings, food or drinks or both, and the access. When you are ready, fill in our quote form.

Space, access and the venue

We’ll agree the spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours
  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • Space for a taco-bar table if you’ve chosen one

Questions from RM11

Can you do dairy-free food?

We can. We offer dairy-free options, and we’ll tell you which dishes contain milk.

When do you arrive?

We arrive in good time to set up before service. Serving times are agreed with you in advance, along with pack-down.

Can you cater in a back garden?

That depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Send us a picture and we’ll talk it through.

What if it rains?

Rain doesn’t stop service from the hatch. Have somewhere covered ready for guests.

What happens if it rains?

We can serve from the hatch in the rain. It is worth planning a covered area for guests, and tell us if heavy rain could make the ground soft.

What access do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

Can you cater for special diets?

We can. We plan gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests. Allergen information is available for every dish.

  • Served from our truck or trailer at your venue, garden or event
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, with allergen information
  • Tacos and taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas
  • Mexican drinks bar: margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas
