Our Mexican catering in UB7
Mexican street food makes mixed diets simple. We plan gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options, with corn tortillas for gluten-free guests, and allergen information is available for every dish. It works well for leaving dos and retirement parties and fundraisers and school events, with quesadillas, loaded nachos and burrito bowls.
We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table.
- Start by telling us about your event.
- We suggest fillings and extras and send a quote.
- Access, the serving spot, power and water are agreed in advance.
- On the day we park up, set up and serve hot food to order.
- We pack down after service and leave the area tidy.
Prices in UB7
The cost per head can fall as numbers rise, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Give us your numbers and we’ll quote.

Near you in West Drayton

The closest station to West Drayton is West Drayton station, about 0.5 miles north-west. Well-known places in the area include The Chimes (3 miles north) and British Airways Heritage Collection (2.5 miles north). For a walk before or after the party, there’s Uxbridge Moor and Staines Reservoirs.
Taco catering in UB7: local guide
Across UB7, we cater in 3 towns and 4 villages and hamlets, so whether your event is in West Drayton, Yiewsley and Cowley or a quiet village, the approach is the same: a level, firm spot, a way in and agreed timings.
West Drayton: If you’re organising a summer fair for a school like West Drayton Academy, a taco truck can be a crowd-pleaser. Nearby historic houses include Ickenham Hall (4.2 miles north). Venues like these often limit where vehicles can go, so ask about access before booking one. Around midsummer it stays light in West Drayton until about 9:20pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:05pm, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. For winter events, when it’s dark by about 3:55pm, plan lighting where guests queue and eat.
How it compares
Platters dropped off in the morning are easy but forgettable. Live service from a truck or trailer gives guests hot food and something to talk about.
Questions to ask before you book
- How late numbers can change
- How dietary needs and allergies are handled
- What the caterer needs from your venue
- Whether plates, napkins and cutlery are included
Working with your venue
If you’re booking for a business, tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll explain how it works. We’re happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.
Events in public spaces, like parks, generally need permission. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.
Can I do a taco night myself?
Some hosts like to do it themselves. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the serving.
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.
Catering for every guest
Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:
- Include at least one vegan filling
- Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed
- Tell us about coeliac guests, not just gluten-free preferences
- Put guests with severe allergies in touch with us early
We can still serve from the hatch if it rains, but guests will need somewhere covered to eat.
Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added from our drinks bar.
What we need at the venue
We will agree the spot with you before the day. It needs to meet a few simple requirements:
- Space for guests to queue
- Hardstanding or firm, level ground to park on
- Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day
UB7: your questions answered
How does your Mexican catering work?
We arrive with our own mobile kitchen. We set up, serve your guests and clear away when service ends.
Can you cater for guests who avoid dairy?
We can. We offer dairy-free options.
Can you serve in the rain?
The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, like a marquee or gazebo.
Can you run a bar?
Yes. Our drinks bar can be booked on its own or with food. We will check the licensing for alcohol with you.
What can we choose from?
Tacos and taco bars, plus burritos, burrito bowls, nachos and quesadillas. Our sample menu has more detail.
Do you cater for big events?
It depends on the event. As a guide, it is around 50 to 400 guests; tell us your numbers and we’ll plan around them.
Can you serve in bad weather?
Rain doesn’t stop service from the hatch. Have somewhere covered ready for guests.
