Wedding Mexican catering in Bagshot

Wedding Mexican catering for your wedding in Bagshot

Our truck or trailer suits marquee, barn and garden weddings, as long as we can drive in safely and park on level ground. Popular choices include a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, tacos and fresh guacamole and salsas, and it is a good fit for engagement celebrations and evening wedding food.

There is something special about a country wedding near Bagshot, and a food truck by the barn or marquee adds to it. Plan access, ground and cover in case of rain. We serve from the hatch of our food truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

Wedding Mexican catering or something else?

A hog roast is popular at weddings, but harder for vegetarian and vegan guests. Tacos cover them with separate fillings. What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

Why book with us

  • A menu agreed with you
  • Quoted for your event
  • Every guest catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included
  • Service planned around your numbers

Take a look at how we price or our guide to catering costs.

How the day works

Guests tend to gather around the truck, so we will help you choose a spot with room for a queue. Rain does not typically stop us serving, though guests will want somewhere covered to stand or sit. December weddings in Bagshot lose the light by about 4:00pm, so evening guests will be queuing in the dark. Festoon lights by the truck help guests see the menu.

  1. You send us your wedding date, venue, numbers and how you see the day.
  2. Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
  3. We confirm access, the serving spot and the running order with the venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue, around speeches and photos.
  5. Once service is done, we pack away quietly.

Getting ready for the day

  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Plan a covered area for guests if rain is likely
  • Let us know the timings for the day

Bagshot: your questions answered

Do you come out to small places like Bagshot?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Let us know about access and parking for the truck or trailer.

How far is Bagshot from central London?

It’s about 63 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Who clears up?

We clear our own area when service is finished. Ask us if you’d like help with anything else.

Can you run a bar?

Yes, we run a Mexican drinks bar, serving margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas such as hibiscus and horchata, and soft drinks. Alcohol at an event may need a licence, such as a premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice, so we’ll check the licensing with you.

Can we add margaritas?

Our drinks bar can be added, with alcohol-free choices too. Licensing is checked with you and the venue.

What if our speeches run late?

Tell us and we’ll adjust. We keep in touch with your venue on the day and serve when you are ready.

What’s on the menu?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings might include chicken tinga, pork carnitas, al pastor-style pork and vegan options like black beans. See our menu for ideas.

Can a taco bar feel special?

With good presentation, it feels like a celebration.

Planning the serving area

Many gardens, fields and venues can take a truck or trailer, but there are a few things to check:

  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • A place for the truck or trailer near where guests are eating
  • A spot away from buildings, windows and neighbours

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise.

Prices and what affects them

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • What the venue already provides
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food
  • The menu you choose
  • How many guests we are serving

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you choose what goes in.

What to tell us

For a quote, it helps to have:

  • Expected numbers
  • The address or venue name
  • The date and rough timings
  • How we drive in and where we can park

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and you’ll get menu ideas and a price. Just tell us about it on our contact page.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.

Catering for every guest

Dietary needs are easy to plan for with a little notice. We suggest:

  • Enquire early for summer Saturdays
  • Think about a covered space for wet weather
  • Let us know about supplier meals
  • Flag any coeliac guests or serious allergies

We serve evening food when the running order says, such as after the cake is cut.

A wider choice of salsas and toppings fills out the taco bar.

Organising for someone else?

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.

Hosting a party at home? Send a photo of the space and tell us about access, and we will tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.
