Wedding Mexican catering near Brixton

Working with your venue

Events in public spaces, like parks, normally need permission. We will provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.

Hosting a party at home? Send us a picture of the space and tell us about the drive and gates, and we’ll let you know if it is a good fit.

Wedding Mexican catering in Brixton, served fresh

We plan the wedding menu with you, perhaps with fillings such as carnitas, chicken tinga or birria, plus vegan options like spiced mushrooms or black beans. Popular choices include a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, fresh guacamole and salsas and evening tacos, which works well for weddings with lots of dietary needs and informal wedding breakfasts.

For a wedding in Brixton, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast or tacos as evening food can both work. Narrow streets mean we plan where the truck or trailer stops, and some venues may need a parking suspension from the council. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests, and we give allergen information for every dish.

Why choose wedding Mexican catering in Brixton?

Hog roasts are popular but tricky for mixed diets. Separate fillings and toppings cover every diet. There’s no one-size-fits-all price for wedding Mexican catering. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Contact us for a quote.

Why us?

  • A menu built around your guests
  • Set-up planned with you and your venue
  • Catering across Greater London, including Brixton
  • Every guest catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included

See our prices page or the cost guide.

Should I do it myself?

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

Brixton: your questions answered

We are having a ceremony at Trinity Congregational Church: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

Is parking a problem for events in Brixton?

That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.

Is Mexican street food too casual for a wedding?

Served well, it feels generous and special.

How is the food prepared?

We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Can you come to a private house?

Yes, as long as there’s access and a level, firm spot. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes.

When should we book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Ask about your date even if it’s soon.

Do you provide allergen information for each dish?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we do that for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Truck and trailer service typically suits around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Tell us your numbers.

Before you choose a spot

Every venue is different, so we ask about the space when you get in touch. In general, we need:

  • Details of power and water on site, agreed when you book
  • Some distance from houses and neighbours
  • A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand

As a London location, Brixton is inside the ULEZ, and parking and loading take planning: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise.

What we offer

The process

When we arrive, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. We’re ready to serve at the agreed time, planned around your event. For a summer wedding in Brixton, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so evening tacos are typically served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it is dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we plan the food for your day.
  3. We agree timings and access with the venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue.
  5. We pack down and leave our area tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer
  • Give us your final numbers and diets

How to get a price

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and we will reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just tell us about it on our contact page.
