Wedding Mexican catering for your wedding in Cliffe

We can do the wedding breakfast, evening food, or the two together. A taco bar for the meal and loaded nachos or tacos for the evening works well. On the menu are a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, tacos and loaded nachos, and it’s a good fit for day-after wedding get-togethers and receptions after an intimate ceremony.

Weddings in a place like Cliffe often feel personal: a local church, then a marquee in a garden or field. A truck or trailer parked by the marquee fits right in. Tell us about access to the field or garden. Your quote sets out what’s included: menu, timings and any add-ons.

Wedding Mexican catering or something else?

Many food trucks only cover evening food. We can do the main meal as well, so one caterer covers the day. Access and travel can make a difference to the cost, so tell us about the venue when you ask for a quote. The full price is confirmed in your quote.

What you get with us

  • Options for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan guests
  • A plan agreed before the day
  • A truck or trailer that comes to you
  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both

Take a look at how we price or the cost guide.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For larger numbers, mixed diets or a wedding, a caterer takes the pressure off, and handles allergen information for you.

Step by step

We work to your timings. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, tell us and we will adjust the start of service where we can. In Cliffe, midsummer sunset is about 9:15pm, and by late September it’s nearer 7:05pm, which means evening food is typically served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. We start by checking your date.
  2. You pick the menu with us.
  3. We confirm the plan with your venue.
  4. Guests build their tacos at the taco bar or order at the hatch.
  5. After serving, we clear away.

Before we arrive

  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Tell us when you want service to start

Cliffe: your questions answered

We’re having a ceremony at Church of St Thomas at Cliffe: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.

Is Cliffe close to London?

It’s about 44 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Where do you cater?

London and South East England: Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire.

What access do you need?

Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer, and a route in it can fit through, and the venue’s agreement. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

How spicy is the food?

The food can be kept mild, with hotter salsas on the side for anyone who wants more heat.

Can you serve drinks at our wedding?

Our drinks bar can be added. Licensing is checked with you and the venue.

Can guests build their own tacos?

Yes, a taco bar is one of our options. Let us know your numbers and space and we will suggest the best set-up.

Can you do gluten-free food?

Yes, gluten-free options are available, using corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can explain how we prepare their food. See are corn tortillas gluten-free?
