About our wedding Mexican catering in Fleet

A taco bar at a wedding feels relaxed and generous. Everyone fills their own tortillas from the fillings, salsas and toppings, and the queue becomes a chance to chat. It works well for weddings in a marquee or garden and gatherings the day after a wedding, with burrito bowls, tacos and loaded nachos.

Couples in Fleet often keep it personal, with a marquee or a hall nearby. Tacos for the wedding breakfast or the evening suit that kind of day. Everything is prepared fresh for your wedding and served from our food truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

Working with your venue

If your event is in a public space, such as a park, check what permission you need first. We’ll provide the information the landowner or council asks for from us.

Planners and coordinators can contact us directly, and we’ll keep everyone informed on the day.

Prices and what affects them

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:

  • What’s on the menu
  • How many guests we’re serving
  • How many staff you need
  • Timings and hours

When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we’ll set out what’s included.

Getting an accurate quote

When you get in touch, it helps to tell us:

  • The date and rough timings
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Your menu ideas
  • Any dietary needs and allergies

Tell us your date, venue or postcode and roughly how many guests, along with any dietary needs, and you will get menu ideas and a price. Just tell us about it on our contact page.

Diets, allergies and planning

We take diets and allergies seriously. Help us by following these steps:

  • Check your date with us early
  • Put us in touch with your venue
  • Let us know about severe allergies in writing
  • Let us know about supplier meals

If things run late, and we will adjust when we serve.

We can feed your photographer and band too if you add them to the final count.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Fleet questions

How far is Fleet from London?

About 36 miles from central London, and well within our area.

Can you cater a reception after a service at Fleet Methodist Church?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Send us the reception address.

When do you arrive?

We get there well before service to set up. Serving times are agreed with you in advance, along with pack-down.

Can you cater for children?

Yes. Mild dishes, quesadillas and nachos can be part of the menu. Include children in your numbers.

Do you have dairy-free options?

Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need dairy-free food, and we will include them in the plan.

Can you run a bar?

Yes, we do. The drinks bar can be added to food or booked on its own. For alcohol, we’ll go through the licensing with you and your venue.

Do you cater for coeliacs?

We can, using corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we check every dish and give allergen information.

What about supplier meals?

Of course. Include suppliers in your numbers and we’ll plan for them.

Space, access and the venue

We’ll agree the spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • A serving spot close to the marquee or reception area
  • Permission from the venue or landowner
  • Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

What happens on the day

Once service is over, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. December weddings in Fleet lose the light by about 3:55pm, so evening guests will be queuing in the dark. Festoon lights by the truck help guests see the menu.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we plan the food for your day.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue.
  5. We pack down and leave our area tidy.

How to prepare
