Wedding Mexican catering for Martin events

How our wedding Mexican catering works in Martin

Evening food needs to be quick and filling, and tacos or loaded nachos from our truck or trailer fit the bill without stopping the dancing for long. At engagement parties and receptions after an intimate ceremony, we will put together a menu of quesadillas, loaded nachos and burrito bowls.

There is something special about a country wedding near Martin, and a food truck by the barn or marquee adds to it. Plan access, ground and cover in case of rain. We’ll check the space, access and power with you before the day, so set-up goes smoothly.

Common questions in Martin

Is Martin close to London?

It is about 66 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St Augustine?

Yes, at a garden, field or venue nearby where the truck or trailer can park. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Tell us where the reception will be.

Do you need electricity?

That depends on the set-up, so we confirm power and water arrangements with each booking. Let us know whether there’s a supply near where we’ll park.

How big an event can you cater?

It depends on the menu and how long service runs, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. For anything outside that, ask us.

How soon do we need to book?

As soon as you have a date. Popular dates go first, so it pays to ask early.

What if the weather’s bad?

The truck or trailer can serve in the rain, but guests need somewhere covered to eat and drink, such as a marquee, gazebo or nearby building.

How much does wedding Mexican catering cost in Martin?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Tell us your date and numbers for a clear quote.

Can guests build their own tacos?

We can. We can set up a build-your-own taco bar, served from the truck or a serving table, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from. Read our taco bar guide.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label anything containing allergens.

Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

  • How many guests we’re serving
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery
  • Travel, parking and access
  • The menu you choose

A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, because it needs no venue kitchen. Ask us for a quote.

How the day works

When service finishes, we pack down and clear our own area. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. A winter wedding in Martin gets dark early, at about 3:50pm in December, so the evening food will be served after dark. Ask your venue what outdoor lighting it has near where we will park.

  1. Tell us the date, the venue, day and evening numbers and your plans.
  2. Together we choose a taco bar, evening food or both, and we send a quote.
  3. We confirm access, the serving spot and the running order with the venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue, around speeches and photos.
  5. We pack down after service and leave our area tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Choose a level, firm spot for the truck or trailer
  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Name one person we can ask on the day

How to get a price

Space, access and the venue

The route in matters as much as the spot itself. We need:

  • Space for guests to queue
  • Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
  • A serving point within easy walk of the reception

If you’re unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think before you book.
