Wedding Mexican catering in Minster, from our truck or trailer

Our drinks bar can serve margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas, with alcohol-free options too. We will go through the licensing with you and your venue. On the menu are evening tacos, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and burrito bowls, and it is a good fit for day-after celebrations and sharing-style wedding meals.

Planning the serving area

We’ll agree the spot with you before the day. A good spot ticks these boxes:

  • Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site
  • Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
  • Space for guests to queue

Not sure about your space? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly before booking.

What wedding Mexican catering costs

These are the factors that matter most:

  • Parking and the route in
  • The number of people
  • Staff for serving and the bar
  • Plates, napkins and cutlery

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

What to tell us

You do not need everything decided to ask for a quote, but it helps to know:

  • Whether you’d like food, drinks or both
  • Your date and when you want service to start
  • A picture of the space, if it’s a garden or field
  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground

We need only a few details to quote: date, location, guest numbers and diets. Contact us for a quote: just tell us about it on our contact page.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: see how many tacos per person. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label anything containing allergens.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

For event organisers in Minster

Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Send us your venue’s requirements and we’ll follow them.

Events in public spaces, like parks, usually need permission. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.

Minster questions

We are having a ceremony at The Abbey Church Of St Mary And St Sexburga: can you cater afterwards?

Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we will check the access.

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Barton's Point Coastal Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.

What if the photos overrun?

Tell us and we’ll adjust. We stay in touch with your coordinator and serve when you’re ready.

Do you have dairy-free options?

Yes, on request. Tell us how many guests need dairy-free food, and we will include them in the plan.

Can you handle dietary needs at our wedding?

We plan carefully and keep options separate. Guests with severe allergies should talk to us before the wedding.

What about power on site?

Tell us what the site has, such as a supply from the venue near where we’ll park, and we will confirm what we need with your quote.

Do you provide allergen information for each dish?

Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). For severe allergies, please talk to us first.

Is the food very hot?

That’s your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side.

  • Weddings with lots of dietary needs

A wedding party gathering in Barton's Point Coastal Park may need the park owner’s agreement, so ask before the day.

  • How dietary needs and allergies are handled
  • If the price includes VAT
  • What the caterer needs from your venue

Our caterer checklist

The process

We arrive in good time before service, then set up and prepare everything. Guests come up to order when service opens. For a summer wedding in Minster, the sun sets at about 9:15pm in late June and about 7:00pm in late September, which means evening food is usually served in daylight in June and July. For autumn and winter weddings, when it’s dark by about 3:50pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. We start by checking your date.
  2. You pick the menu with us.
  3. We confirm the plan with your venue.
  4. Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
  5. We serve, then pack down.

Preparing for the day

  • Tell us about narrow gates or low branches
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
