Wedding Mexican catering in Preston, served fresh

A taco bar at a wedding feels relaxed and generous. Guests build their own plates from warm tortillas, fillings, salsas and toppings, and the queue becomes a chance to chat. We serve loaded nachos, a taco bar for the wedding breakfast and tacos, and it is a good fit for rustic barn weddings and food for evening guests.

There’s something special about a country wedding near Preston, and a food truck by the barn or marquee adds to it. Plan access, ground and cover in case of rain. Food and drinks can be booked together or separately, so one caterer can cover more of the day.

Common questions in Preston

Is it possible to have you in Grove Ferry Picnic Area?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.

Will you travel to a small place like Preston?

Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Tell us about lanes, gates, ground and parking.

What food and drinks do you offer?

We agree a sample menu with each client. Fillings might include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria and vegan options such as spiced mushrooms or black beans. See our menu for ideas.

Which areas do you serve?

London and the South East: Greater London, Kent and Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, including Preston.

Do you do evening food as well as the main meal?

Yes: one part of the day, or both main meals, from the wedding breakfast to evening food. Share your plans and we will suggest a menu.

Do you provide plates and napkins?

That’s confirmed with each quote. Tell us whether your venue has crockery or you’d prefer disposables and we’ll talk it through.

Is a taco bar smart enough for a wedding?

It can be dressed up or kept relaxed, depending on the presentation and the venue.

What if the photos overrun?

We adapt. We stay in touch with your coordinator and move the serving time if needed.

Should I do it myself?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.

You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.

Why choose wedding Mexican catering in Preston?

A taco bar is less formal than a plated meal, but it can still feel like a celebration. Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, because it needs no venue kitchen. Contact us for a quote to compare.

The process

We get there well before you want to serve, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. In Preston, midsummer sunset is about 9:15pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:00pm, so evening tacos are usually served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it is dark by about 3:50pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. Together we plan the food for your day.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue.
  5. We clear our area once service ends.

Before we arrive

  • Let us know the timings for the day
  • Give us your final numbers and diets
  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
