Book wedding Mexican catering in Ruscote

Step by step

We take care of everything you’ve booked, from set-up to service, so you can enjoy your wedding. For a summer wedding in Ruscote, the sun sets at about 9:30pm in late June and about 7:10pm in late September, which means evening food is generally served in daylight in June and July. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan the wedding breakfast, evening food or both with you.
  3. We agree timings and access with the venue.
  4. We serve at the agreed points in the day.
  5. We clear our area once service ends.

Wedding Mexican catering in Ruscote, from our food truck or trailer

Service is planned around your running order: whether that is straight after the photos or later in the evening. Timings are agreed with your venue in advance. It works well for civil partnerships and vow renewals and weddings in a marquee or garden, serving loaded nachos, quesadillas and tacos.

For a smaller place like Ruscote, a garden or farm wedding can be ideal. We need level ground and access. You can book food, drinks or both, so the food and drinks can come from one caterer.

Ruscote questions

Could you serve in People's Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we’ll send what they need from us.

Could you serve our guests after a service at St Paul's Church Centre?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.

How far ahead should we book?

Early, particularly for summer Saturdays. Ask about your date even if it’s soon.

Can you plan for allergies?

Yes, and it helps to hear about allergies when you book. UK law requires caterers to provide information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). Anyone with a severe allergy should speak to us before the event.

Do you do a wedding bar?

Yes, we have a drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. Alcohol needs the right licence, so we will check that with you.

How is the food prepared?

We slow-cook fillings ahead, then finish them and keep them hot at your event. The tortillas are warmed on site, and the salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Can guests build their own tacos?

We can. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas and toppings to choose from. Read our taco bar guide.

What if the timings change?

It happens at most weddings. Service starts when your running order says.

What wedding Mexican catering costs

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Travel, parking and access
  • The length of service
  • The number of people
  • What’s on the menu

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Details that help

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • The date and time of the event
  • What power and water the site has
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children
  • Diets and allergies you know about

Most quotes start with a few simple details: date, location, guest numbers and diets. Contact us for a quote: just send a quick message through our quote form.

Wedding Mexican catering or something else?

Pizza and bacon rolls are common evening choices. Tacos and loaded nachos feel a bit more special, and they’re just as easy to eat. Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, because it needs no venue kitchen. Contact us for a quote to compare.

Diets, allergies and planning

A taco bar is laid out on a table, and guests come up table by table if you like.

Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can be added.

Should I do it myself?

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Doing it yourself? Start with the quantities: see how many tacos per person. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label dishes for guests with allergies.
