Dietary needs and planning tips

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests. To make it work smoothly:

  • Check the venue’s rules for outside caterers and vehicles
  • Ask about diets and allergies with your RSVPs
  • Ask about your date as soon as you have one
  • Tell us about guests with coeliac disease or severe allergies

For a taco bar, fillings, salsas and toppings go out on a serving table, and guests can be called up by table.

A wider choice of salsas and toppings fills out the taco bar.

How we price wedding Mexican catering

Here’s what makes the biggest difference to the price:

  • Your choice of food and drinks
  • The number of people
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • Whether you need disposables

Extras, such as more dishes, extra drinks or a longer service, are quoted on request, so you choose what goes in.

Getting an accurate quote

Here’s what makes a quick, accurate quote possible:

  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • How we drive in and where we can park
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • A photo of the space, if it is a garden or field

Send us the date, your venue or GU9 postcode and guest numbers, along with any dietary needs, and you’ll get menu ideas and a price. To get started, use our quote form.

How it compares

Many food trucks only cover evening food. We can do the main meal as well, so one caterer covers the day. The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. Every event gets its own quote.

Why us?

  • Allergen information for every dish
  • Menus chosen with you
  • Served fresh from our truck or trailer
  • Menus for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests

How the day works

Service is quick and friendly: we serve from the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. Afterwards we clear our area. In Shortheath, midsummer sunset is about 9:20pm, and by late September it is nearer 7:05pm, so evening tacos are usually served in daylight in high summer. Later in the year, plan lighting: in December it’s dark by about 4:00pm.

  1. First, we check availability for your date.
  2. You pick the menu with us.
  3. We confirm the plan with your venue.
  4. Food is served from the taco bar or the hatch.
  5. After serving, we clear away.

Before we arrive

  • Name one person we can ask on the day
  • Ask the venue about power and water
  • Have a marquee or gazebo ready in case of rain
