Weddings in Stone Street: venues, ceremonies and travel

Stone Street is about 3 miles east of Sevenoaks, in Kent. We cater weddings at homes, gardens and venues in Stone Street and the surrounding area. We cover 922 places across Kent. Our nearest city page is London, about 22 miles away.

Couples who choose a church such as St Lawrence for the ceremony often pick a reception spot a short drive away. A wedding party gathering in Ivy Hatch Nature Reserve may need the park owner’s agreement, so ask before the day. A rural reception could be within reach, as the Kent Downs National Landscape is no more than about 6 miles from Stone Street. Firm ground and a clear way in matter more than the view for a food truck.

Wherever your wedding is in TN15, we can bring the truck or trailer to your guests, from busy streets to quiet lanes. Streets in the area include Church Road, Stone Street Road and Pond Lane, and a wedding on any of them can work if the truck or trailer can park nearby. Nearby, we also cater weddings in Bitchet Green (1 mile south-west), Ivy Hatch (1 mile east), Styants Bottom (1 mile north), Godden Green (1 mile west) and Ightham (1 mile north-east). How our wedding Mexican catering works in Stone Street

A food truck or trailer suits barns, marquees, gardens and venues with hardstanding, as long as we can drive in safely and park on level ground. We serve a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, fresh guacamole and salsas and burrito bowls, which works well for farm and barn venues and vow renewals and blessings.

Near Stone Street, weddings are often in fields, barns or gardens. A truck or trailer works well there: no kitchen, just firm ground and access. Let us know about access, ground, power and water. Guests are served from our food truck or trailer, or from a serving table nearby, and we plan service so the queue keeps moving.

Catering for every guest

Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Here’s how:

  • Count day and evening guests separately
  • Ask whether your venue allows food trucks
  • Enquire early for summer Saturdays
  • Send us the running order and speech times

We serve evening food when the running order says, such as after the cake is cut.

Tell us if you need plates, cutlery or staff, and we will confirm what’s possible with your quote.

Before you choose a spot

No two venues are the same, so we ask about the space when you contact us. In general, we need:

  • A sensible distance from buildings and neighbours
  • A serving point within easy walk of the reception
  • A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly before booking.

Popular choices

Questions to ask before booking

Wedding Mexican catering or something else?

Compared with formal catering, a taco bar is relaxed and sociable, but with good presentation it still feels special. If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu that fits. A simple menu can still feel generous.

Why us?

  • A plan agreed before the day
  • Book food, drinks or both
  • A menu agreed with you
  • Allergen information for every dish

Read our pricing or our guide to catering costs.

What wedding Mexican catering costs

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, depending on:

  • Parking and the route in
  • The number of people
  • What the venue already provides
  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food

What’s on the menu makes a difference to the total, so tell us what you have in mind. We’ll suggest options to suit your budget.

What we need to know

To check availability and price, we need:

  • A picture of where we’d park
  • The address or venue name
  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • Expected numbers

Still deciding on the menu? No problem: give us the basics about your wedding, and we’ll make suggestions. To start, send us your details through our quote form.

Planners, venues and businesses

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we will explain how it works. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

Hosting a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we’ll tell you honestly whether a truck or trailer will fit.

Common questions in Stone Street

Could you serve in Ivy Hatch Nature Reserve?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

Can you bring a truck or trailer to venues in the Kent Downs National Landscape?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

How soon do we need to book?

As early as you can, especially for summer weekends. Even if it’s short notice, it’s worth asking.

Do you cater in Stone Street?

Yes. We cater across London and the South East, and Stone Street is within our area. For a quote, send us your details through our quote form.

How much does wedding Mexican catering cost in Stone Street?

Every event is quoted individually, based on what you actually need. Give us your date, numbers and menu ideas for a clear quote.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

That’s confirmed with each quote. Tell us whether your venue has crockery or you’d prefer disposables.

Can you do the wedding breakfast and evening food?

We can cater as much or as little of the day as you like. Tell us what you have in mind.

How the day works

We arrive in good time before service, then set up and prepare everything. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. For a summer wedding in Stone Street, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so evening tacos are typically served in daylight in high summer. For autumn and winter weddings, when it’s dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting around the truck or trailer.

  1. Tell us your date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan the wedding breakfast, evening food or both with you.
  3. Timings are agreed with your venue.
  4. On the day, we set up and serve on cue.
  5. We pack down and leave our area tidy.

Preparing for the day

  • Let us know the timings for the day
  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Tell us what power and water the site has

How to get a price
