FAQs for Tadmarton
Do you come out to small places like Tadmarton?
Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.
Which station should guests use for Tadmarton?
Guests can use Banbury station, about 4.5 miles east of Tadmarton.
How many guests can you serve?
Our truck and trailer service typically suits events of around 50 to 400 guests. Festivals can be bigger, and smaller parties are quoted case by case. Send us your numbers and we will advise.
How spicy is the food?
It is up to you: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side. Read more about how spicy Mexican food is.
Do you have vegan options?
Yes, and we plan them in from the start. Tell us your numbers when you ask for a quote, and we will keep their options separate.
Where do you cater?
London and South East England: Greater London, Kent and Medway, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
Can you do the wedding breakfast and evening food?
Yes. A taco bar works well as a wedding breakfast, and tacos or nachos make good evening food.
Do you have gluten-free options?
We can, using corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we check every dish and give allergen information.
Wedding Mexican catering in Tadmarton, from our food truck or trailer
Our truck or trailer suits marquee, barn and garden weddings, as long as we can drive in safely and park on level ground. At big weddings with every diet and engagement parties at home, we’ll put together a menu of loaded nachos, evening tacos and fresh guacamole and salsas and more.
Near Tadmarton, weddings are often in fields, barns or gardens. A truck or trailer works well there: no venue kitchen needed, just level, firm ground and a way in. Tell us about lanes, gates and ground conditions. Timings are planned around your event, whether that is speeches, a lunch break or a festival schedule.

Should I do it myself?
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Our taco bar guide explains how.
You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.
Planning for every diet
We cater for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests. To get it right:
- Add your band and photographer to the numbers
- Confirm the venue’s catering rules early
- Check your date with us early
- Count day and evening guests separately
For a taco bar, fillings, salsas and toppings go out on a serving table, and guests can be called up by table.
Quesadillas go down well with children at the wedding breakfast.

The process
On the day, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we’ve agreed, planned around your event. December weddings in Tadmarton lose the light by about 3:55pm, so the evening food will be served after dark. Ask your venue what outdoor lighting it has near where we’ll park.
- You send us your wedding date, venue, numbers and how you see the day.
- We plan the food with you: wedding breakfast, evening food or both.
- Timings and where the truck or trailer will stand are agreed with your venue.
- On the day, we set up and serve on cue, around speeches and photos.
- We pack down after service and leave our area tidy.
Before we arrive
- Give us a contact for the day
- Tell us when you want service to start
- Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park

How we price wedding Mexican catering
We will give you a clear quote. The main things that affect it are:
- The menu you choose
- Guest numbers
- Plates, napkins and cutlery
- Timings and hours
Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.
What to tell us
To check availability and price, we need:
- The address or venue name
- The date and time of the event
- Your menu ideas
- Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
Not sure what you need yet? No problem: give us the basics about your wedding, and we’ll make suggestions. When you’re ready, use our quote form.
Working with your venue
If you are organising for someone else, whether you are a planner, an office manager or an event organiser, we’ll work directly with you and the venue. It saves passing messages back and forth.
Events in public spaces, like parks, normally need permission. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.
Where the truck can go in Tadmarton
Many gardens, fields and venues can take a truck or trailer, but there are a few things to check:
- Space for guests to queue
- A serving spot close to the marquee or reception area
- A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
If you are unsure, send a photo of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.
