About our wedding Mexican catering in Uxbridge

We cater weddings in and around Uxbridge, from garden celebrations to marquee receptions. Tell us your plans and we will suggest what fits. At receptions after an intimate ceremony and evening wedding food, we can serve a taco bar for the wedding breakfast, tacos and loaded nachos.

Weddings in a place like Uxbridge often feel personal: a local church, then a marquee in a garden or field. A food truck by the marquee suits that kind of day. Let us know about gates and ground for the truck or trailer. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included, with allergen information for everything we serve.

Uxbridge questions

How far is Uxbridge from central London?

It is about 17 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Which station is closest to Uxbridge?

Guests can use West Drayton station, about 2.1 miles south of Uxbridge.

When do you arrive?

It depends on your event. Timings are agreed in advance to suit your day.

Do you cook on site?

We cook to order in our food truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

How much space do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. Send us a photo and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

Can you serve drinks at our wedding?

You can add our drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. Alcohol needs the right licence, so we’ll check that with you.

Do you take everything away?

We clear our own area when service is finished. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.

Can a taco bar feel special?

Served well, it feels generous and special, and it suits a relaxed day.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

Occasions we cater for in Uxbridge

Mixed diets are easy, which helps when the guest list is long.

In Uxbridge and nearby, we can cater all sorts of events. Some of the most common are:

  • Food for evening guests
  • Receptions after a small ceremony
  • Blessings and vow renewals
  • Weddings in a marquee or garden

Nearby historic houses include Ickenham Hall (2.2 miles north-east) and Northolt Manor (4.7 miles east). A listed house can make a beautiful backdrop, but many have firm rules on vehicles, so raise the food truck with them at your first visit.

The process

Once service is over, we pack down and clear our own area. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. Golden-hour photos in Uxbridge at midsummer come around 9:25pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:55pm, and in late September about 7:05pm.

  1. Send us your wedding date, venue and numbers.
  2. We plan the wedding breakfast, evening food or both with you.
  3. We agree timings and access with the venue.
  4. We serve at the agreed points in the day.
  5. We clear our area once service ends.

How to prepare

  • Check the venue is happy to have a truck or trailer on site
  • Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
  • Have level hardstanding or firm ground ready
