How our corporate Mexican catering works in Covent Garden

We cater staff parties, office lunches, team days and client events, at offices, business parks and hired venues. For fundraisers and client and customer events, we can serve tacos, quesadillas and burritos for your guests.

For offices in and around Covent Garden, the usual spot is a courtyard, forecourt or car park, if the building allows a vehicle on site. Get facilities’ approval and plan loading early, as all of Greater London is inside the ULEZ and street parking is limited. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

What happens on the day

We work to your timings. If speeches run late or the photos take longer, let us know and we will adjust where we can. In Covent Garden, a summer staff party stays light until about 9:20pm; winter events, dark by about 3:55pm, need a well-lit serving area.

  1. We check the date and venue.
  2. You pick tacos, bowls, a taco bar or a mix.
  3. We provide any documents the site requests.
  4. Staff order at the hatch or the taco bar.
  5. We serve, then clear away.

Planning for every diet

Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:

  • Share diet numbers and allergies in writing
  • Have plenty of soft drinks and water as well as alcohol
  • Book a parking space or loading bay for the truck or trailer
  • Get facilities approval early

We adapt if timings change.

Ask us about plates, cutlery and serving staff and we will confirm the options with your quote.

Organising for someone else?

Booking for a company? Tell us what your finance team needs, and we’ll talk you through the process. We are happy to liaise with facilities on access and timings.

For repeat events, such as annual staff parties or seasonal fairs, let us know your dates early, so we can check the date.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we’ll do the serving.

Running your own drinks table is one option, but someone has to serve all evening. Our margarita bar guide has tips.

Common questions in Covent Garden

What’s the nearest station to Covent Garden for guests?

Guests can use London Charing Cross station, which is right in Covent Garden.

Is parking a problem for events in Covent Garden?

That depends on the street. A drive, a courtyard or a bay suspended by the council can all work, so tell us what’s outside your venue. The ULEZ covers all of Greater London.

How spicy is the food?

That’s your choice: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side.

What does corporate Mexican catering cost?

We quote for each event, so the price fits what you want. Tell us your date and numbers for a clear quote.

Do you do a bar for work events?

Our drinks bar serves margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas. Alcohol needs the right licence, such as the venue’s licence or a Temporary Event Notice.

Can you cater in a back garden?

It depends on access. A drive or a spot nearby may work, with permission, if the garden itself is out of reach. Send us a picture and we’ll talk it through.

Can you run a bar?

Yes, we run a Mexican drinks bar, serving margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas such as hibiscus and horchata, and soft drinks. Alcohol at an event may need a licence, such as a premises licence or a Temporary Event Notice, so we’ll check the licensing with you.

Do you have vegan options?

Of course. Vegetarian and vegan fillings, such as spiced mushrooms or black beans, can be part of the menu, served alongside the meat options.

Planning the serving area

We serve from a truck or trailer, so where we park matters. Here’s what we look for:

  • Some distance from houses and neighbours
  • Facilities approval and any site rules
  • Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer

Covent Garden is in London, inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, which covers all of Greater London, and parking can be tight: let us know about permits, bays, off-street space or a parking suspension.

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before booking.

A plated meal needs a kitchen and a big team. We bring our own kitchen, and needs a suitable spot and the site’s approval. The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, plus any add-ons and the location. We quote for each event individually.

  • Staff for serving and the bar
  • Whether you need disposables
