How it works

When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. We agree set-up and pack-down times with you and your venue. After-work summer parties in Sandling have daylight until about 9:15pm in late June and 7:00pm in late September; for winter events, dark by about 3:50pm, plan lighting where people queue.

  1. We check the date and venue.
  2. You choose the menu.
  3. We send the paperwork your venue asks for.
  4. Staff order at the hatch or the taco bar.
  5. Service runs to time, then we pack down.

Should I do it myself?

DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

How we price corporate Mexican catering

The same guest numbers can mean different prices, because of:

  • How many guests we’re serving
  • Serving staff
  • What’s on the menu
  • How long we are needed on site

When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Contact us for a quote and we’ll set out what’s included.

Getting an accurate quote

Good planning starts with a few facts. Try to include:

  • The address or venue name
  • Roughly how many adults and children
  • Diets and allergies you know about
  • A picture of where we’d park

Not sure what you need yet? No problem: give us the basics about your work event, and we’ll suggest a menu. When you are ready, fill in our quote form.

Planning for every diet

Nearly every event has some special diets. To plan for them:

  • Ask what the venue requires from caterers
  • Ensure there are alcohol-free drinks
  • Check the site allows a food truck or trailer
  • Reserve space for the truck or trailer

Service is timed to your schedule, whether that is a lunch break or an evening party.

Is corporate Mexican catering right for your work event?

Barbecues cook in batches and struggle with diets. Tacos cover diets with separate fillings. The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. We quote for each event individually.

Common questions in Sandling

Which station is closest to Sandling?

Sandling has its own station: Sandling station.

Do you come to events in the Kent Downs National Landscape?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

Do you do margaritas?

Yes, we run a Mexican drinks bar, serving margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas such as hibiscus and horchata, and soft drinks. Your venue or event may need the right licence for alcohol, so we will go through the licensing with you.

When should we book?

As early as you can, especially for summer weekends. Ask about your date even if it is soon.

How many guests can you serve?

That depends on the menu and the service time, but around 50 to 400 guests is the usual range. For anything outside that, ask us.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn is naturally gluten-free, though some sauces and toppings can contain gluten, so we plan gluten-free dishes carefully and give allergen information.

What does corporate Mexican catering cost?

Every event is quoted individually, so the price fits what you want. Tell us your date and numbers and we’ll reply with a quote.

Is the food suitable for children?

Yes, children are easy to plan for. Tell us how many and roughly how old, and we will plan the menu with them in mind.
