Mexican catering in Bow, served fresh

Our truck and trailer service tends to suit around 50 to 400 guests. Larger festivals and smaller parties are looked at case by case, so tell us your numbers. It suits leaving parties and big birthday celebrations, with quesadillas, fresh salsas and guacamole and loaded nachos.

Around Bow, parking and loading are the main things to plan for a truck or trailer. Narrow streets and permit bays decide where we can stop, so let us know about off-street space, or whether the council will need to suspend a parking bay. All of Greater London, Bow included, is inside the ULEZ. Everything is prepared fresh for your event and served from our food truck or trailer, so guests get it at its best.

For event organisers in Bow

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: where vehicles can park, access times and the paperwork they need. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.

For big numbers, we plan service to keep queues short, so guests are looked after quickly. Let us know how long the break is.

What we need at the venue

Everything is served from our food truck or trailer, so the spot needs a little planning. Here’s what we look for:

  • Room for a queue in front of the serving hatch
  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
  • Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer

London streets around Bow can be narrow and busy, and all of Greater London sits inside the ULEZ. Tell us about loading, permits and any parking suspension when you enquire.

Not sure about your space? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.

What Mexican catering costs

Every event is priced individually, based on a few main things:

  • Serving staff
  • Food, drinks or both
  • How many guests we’re serving
  • Timings and hours

If you have a budget in mind, tell us, and we’ll suggest a menu to match. A simple menu can still feel generous.

What to tell us

The more we know about your event, the better we can plan. Try to include:

  • Gate widths, slopes and the ground
  • The address or venue name
  • Your menu ideas
  • Your date and when you want service to start

We need only a few details to quote: the date, where the event is, how many guests and any dietary needs. To send them, use our quote form.

Choosing a Mexican caterer

A closer look at the menu

Tacos

Soft tortillas, warmed and filled, finished with salsas and toppings. Fillings are agreed with you, such as carnitas, chicken tinga or spiced mushrooms.

Loaded nachos

Crisp tortilla chips loaded with toppings, salsa and guacamole, made for sharing.

Can I do a taco night myself?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.

If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep tortillas warm in a covered basket, and label dishes for guests with allergies.

Mexican catering or something else?

Burgers and pizza are what guests often expect. Tacos, burritos and nachos feel a little different, while still being easy food most people enjoy. The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, plus any add-ons and the location. We quote for each event individually.

Why book with us

  • Food and drinks from one caterer, if you want both
  • Allergen-aware menus
  • Menus for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests
  • Access, space and power checked in advance

How it works

Here’s how the day usually runs: we arrive and set up, we open the hatch when you are ready, and we serve your guests fresh for the agreed time. Evenings in Bow stay light until about 9:20pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. For anything running past sunset, think about lights near the hatch.

  1. Get in touch with the basics: when, where and how many.
  2. We come back with menu ideas and a quote.
  3. Closer to the day, we confirm timings and arrangements.
  4. We serve hot food from our truck or trailer at the agreed time.
  5. We pack away when service is over.

Getting ready for the day

  • Get the venue’s permission for us to park and serve
  • Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
  • Arrange somewhere covered for guests to eat

Bow: your questions answered

Can you bring your truck or trailer to Grove Hall Park?

It depends on the park’s owner, who would need to agree to a catering vehicle on site. Ask them first; if they say yes, we will send what they need from us.

We’re having a ceremony at St Paul Old Ford: can you cater afterwards?

Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Send us the reception address.

When do you arrive?

We arrive in good time to set up before service. The length of service is agreed when you book.

Do you have dairy-free options?

Yes. We offer dairy-free options.

What do you need at the venue?

A level, firm spot for the truck or trailer, with access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s agreement. We confirm power and water with you for each booking.

What’s on the menu?

Mexican street food and drinks: tacos, taco bars, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. A drinks bar is available too, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Do you provide drinks?

Yes. The drinks bar can be added to food or booked on its own. We will check the licensing for alcohol with you.

Do you clear up afterwards?

We pack down and leave our area tidy. Let us know the venue’s rules on waste and we’ll confirm the arrangements with your quote.
