Mexican catering in Castle Green, from our food truck or trailer

Mixed diets are easy to plan with Mexican street food. There are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests, and we give allergen information for every dish. On the menu are quesadillas, burritos and tacos, and it’s a good fit for charity and school events and milestone birthdays.

Somewhere as small as Castle Green, a garden or field is often the venue. Country lanes, long drives and gates are fine if we know about them, and soft ground after rain is worth mentioning. We serve from the hatch of our truck or trailer, or from a serving station, and we plan the service around your numbers.

Cold buffets are easy, but the food sits out. Tacos and burritos are made to order and served hot. Larger events can cost less per head, because the set-up is similar for different sizes of event. Tell us your numbers for an accurate price.

These are the factors that matter most:

  • Parking and the route in

  • Adding food to drinks, or drinks to food

Comparing caterers? Look at what each quote includes: service time, staff, plates and napkins, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.

What to tell us

You don’t need everything decided to ask for a quote, but it helps to know:

  • Any dietary needs and allergies
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • Approximate guest numbers, including children

Castle Green: your questions answered

Is it possible to have you in Milford Green and Coxhill Green?

Only if the landowner, often the council, allows it. Ask them first, and we will help with the information they need from us.

How far is Castle Green from London?

It’s about 25 miles from central London, and inside the area we cover.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes, we offer gluten-free options, made with corn tortillas. Tell us about any coeliac guests before the event so we can explain how we prepare their food.

Are plates and napkins included?

Please ask us. Let us know what you already have, and we’ll set out plates, napkins and cutlery in your quote.

How much space do you need?

Access and level ground matter most: a level spot to park, space for guests to queue and a little room for a serving table. Send us a photo and tell us about gates, slopes and soft ground.

Can you set up at our venue?

We need level, firm ground or hardstanding, access wide and high enough to drive in, and the venue’s permission. Power and water are confirmed with each booking.

Do you cook on site?

Food is cooked to order in our food truck or trailer, or served from a build-your-own taco bar. Slow-cooked fillings are prepared in advance and kept hot on site.

What’s on the menu?

Tacos, build-your-own taco bars, burritos, burrito bowls, loaded nachos and quesadillas, with salsas, guacamole and toppings. Our sample menu has more detail.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, and handles allergen information for you.

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. There are fillings to slow-cook, tortillas to keep warm and salsas to make. Read our guide to taco bars.
