Mexican catering in Cop Street
Mexican catering for your event in Cop Street
Tacos are the heart of the menu: warmed tortillas, a choice of fillings, and salsas, guacamole and toppings to finish. Burritos, burrito bowls, loaded nachos and quesadillas can sit alongside them. At retirement and leaving parties and christenings and family parties, we can serve burritos, tacos and fresh salsas and guacamole and more.
In a small place like Cop Street, events are normally in a garden, a field or a nearby hall. Country lanes, long drives and gates are fine if we know about them, and soft ground after rain is worth mentioning. Access, space and power are agreed with you beforehand, so set-up goes smoothly.
Comparing your options
Burgers and pizza are what guests often expect. Mexican street food stands out, while still being easy food most people enjoy. Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

Should I do it myself?
You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.
If you do it yourself, work out quantities first: our guide to how many tacos per person helps. Keep warmed tortillas covered, and label anything containing allergens.
Common questions in Cop Street
Will you travel to a small place like Cop Street?
Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.
Can you cater a reception after a service at Church of St Nicholas?
Yes. The church itself isn’t where we’d set up, but a hall, field or garden close by with room for the truck or trailer can work well. Let us know the reception address and we’ll check the access.
Do you cater for big events?
That depends on the event. As a guide, it is around 50 to 400 guests; tell us your numbers and we’ll plan around them.
How does your Mexican catering work?
We park our truck or trailer at your venue and serve hot Mexican street food from it. A build-your-own taco bar is another option.
What access do you need?
Access and level ground matter most: a firm spot for the truck or trailer, room for a queue and, for a taco bar, space for a serving table. If in doubt, send us a photo of the space and the way in.
Can you cater for guests who avoid dairy?
We can. Dairy-free options are part of our menus.
Do you do a drinks bar?
We can. The drinks bar offers margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and alcohol-free drinks. We’ll go through the licensing with you.
Do you do a taco bar?
Yes. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings. Read our taco bar guide.
The process
We take care of everything you’ve booked, from set-up to service, so you can spend time with your guests. Around midsummer it stays light in Cop Street until about 9:15pm; by late September sunset is nearer 7:00pm, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. For winter events, when it’s dark by about 3:50pm, plan lighting where guests queue and eat.
- First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
- You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
- We check access, power and water with you or the venue.
- On the day we arrive, set up and serve hot food from our truck or trailer.
- Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.
How to prepare
- Measure any gates or arches on the way in
- Send us final numbers and dietary needs in good time
- Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
