Mexican catering in Margate, served fresh
Every menu is agreed with you, so fillings might include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, and vegan options like spiced mushrooms or black beans. On the menu are fresh salsas and guacamole, loaded nachos and a build-your-own taco bar, and it suits retirement and leaving parties and office lunches and team days.
In Margate, an event with a food truck generally means a garden with drive access, a hall or club with a car park, or a hired venue. All of them can work, as long as the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Your quote sets out what’s included: the menu, the service time and any extras you choose.

- Agreement from the venue to bring a food truck or trailer on site
- Clear vehicle access: gate widths, height limits and the ground checked before the day
If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we’ll advise before booking.

Margate: venues, access and local tips
Margate is in Kent. Wherever your event is in the CT9 area, we can serve your guests. We cover all 922 towns and villages across Kent, wherever the truck or trailer can get in. You can also see our page for Canterbury, about 15 miles away.
A school such as Salmestone Primary School running a summer fair or fundraiser could book a taco truck. By road, Margate is on or near the A28 and A254, which makes it easy for us to reach with the truck or trailer. With the sea within about a mile, a beach-side event might appeal. Promenades and beaches typically need permission, and the truck or trailer has to park on firm ground, not sand.
Wherever your event is in CT9, CT7, CT8 and CT10, we can bring Mexican catering to you, from busy streets to quiet lanes. From Yoakley Square, Church Road and High Street or a nearby road, we will plan where to park and serve. Being close to the A28 and A254, Margate is simple for us to get to. Margate: your questions answered
How far is Margate from central London?
About 64 miles from central London.
Do you cater at coastal events near Margate?
Yes, with permission for the spot and firm ground for the truck or trailer. Seafront and beach spots generally need permission, and wind is the main thing to plan for.
What are your prices?
We quote for each event, depending on numbers, menu, venue and timings. Contact us for a quote.
What’s on the menu?
We agree the menu with each client, with fillings such as carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria or spiced mushrooms. The sample menu shows the options.
Can you serve drinks as well?
Yes. The drinks bar offers margaritas, Mexican beer, aguas frescas and alcohol-free drinks. Licensing is checked with you first.
Do you provide plates and napkins?
Please ask us. Let us know what you already have, and we’ll confirm what’s included with your quote.
What if it rains?
The truck or trailer serves in the rain, but guests will need somewhere covered to eat.
Can you cater in a back garden?
Yes, as long as there’s access and a level, firm spot. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes, and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
How it compares
Sit-down meals need a kitchen, tables and more staff. Our food truck or trailer brings its own kitchen, so we need a suitable spot, access and the venue’s permission, with power and water confirmed when you book. Catering from a truck or trailer can be a practical alternative to a sit-down meal, as there’s no kitchen to hire. Ask us for a quote.
What you get with us

DIY taco night versus a caterer
Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.
Doing it yourself saves money, but the host ends up in the kitchen. Booking a caterer means you can relax with everyone else.
How it works
When service finishes, we pack up and leave our area tidy. Set-up and pack-down times are agreed with you and the venue. In Margate, the sun sets at about 9:15pm in late June and about 7:00pm in late September, so summer evening service is normally in daylight. In December it is dark by about 3:50pm, so winter events need lighting around the truck and the queue.
- Begin with the date, the place and the numbers.
- We come back with menu ideas and a quote.
- Nearer the date, we go over the final plan.
- We serve hot food from our food truck or trailer at the agreed time.
- We pack away when service is over.
How to prepare
- Tell us what power and water the site has
- Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
- Share the running order, including any speeches
