Mexican catering near East Marden

Mexican catering in East Marden, from our truck or trailer

You can keep the menu short or make it a feast: tacos on their own, or tacos with burritos, nachos and quesadillas. Margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas can come from our drinks bar. Popular choices include burrito bowls, fresh salsas and guacamole and a build-your-own taco bar, and it is a good fit for school fairs and fundraisers and leaving dos and retirement parties.

Somewhere as small as East Marden, a garden or field is often the venue. Country lanes, long drives and gates are fine if we know about them, and firm ground matters, especially after rain. Every guest is catered for, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan included, with allergen information for everything we serve.

The process

When we arrive, we park the truck or trailer in the agreed spot and set up. We are ready to serve at the agreed time, planned around your event. A December event in East Marden will be in the dark from about 4:00pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. In late June, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:20pm.

  1. First, send us your date, venue, numbers and any diets we should know about.
  2. You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
  3. Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
  4. We arrive, set up and cook to order, with salsas and guacamole made fresh.
  5. Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.

Getting ready for the day

  • Confirm the venue allows outside caterers
  • Name one person we can ask on the day

If you are unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we will say what we think.

About the menu

Loaded nachos

Crisp tortilla chips loaded with toppings, salsa and guacamole.

Salsas and guacamole

Every taco needs salsa and guacamole, and guests add as much as they like.

Prices and what affects them

We will give you a clear quote. What affects it most:

  • Guest numbers
  • Distance and access to the venue
  • What’s on the menu
  • How long we are needed on site

The price depends on guest numbers, the menu and how long you’d like us to serve, along with extras and where your event is. We quote for each event individually.

Getting an accurate quote

You do not need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • Your menu ideas
  • Where the event is
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy numbers

Send us the date, your venue or PO18 postcode and guest numbers, along with any dietary needs, and we’ll reply with a menu suggestion and a quote. Just tell us about it on our contact page.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it is more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Read our guide to taco bars.
