About our Mexican catering in Grange
With mobile Mexican catering, we bring the kitchen with us: we park our food truck or trailer on site and serve hot food from it. You do not need a kitchen at the venue. On the menu are burritos, burrito bowls and a build-your-own taco bar, and it is a good fit for christenings and family parties and big birthday celebrations.
Somewhere like Grange, a field or garden is often the setting. Gates, verges and soft ground are worth mentioning when you enquire. We cater for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests, with allergen information for everything we serve.
Occasions we cater for in Grange
The food is bright and generous that fits informal events.
Big or small, a truck or trailer works well. Typical bookings include:
- Office lunches and team days
- Garden parties
- Engagement celebrations
- Fundraisers and school events
Parents planning a fundraiser at a school like Woodlands Primary School might find a Mexican street-food truck draws families in.
What your quote should include
- Whether plates, napkins and cutlery are included
- Where to see their hygiene rating
- Payment terms and deposit
- How bad weather is handled
Diets, allergies and planning
Good planning keeps every guest safe and happy. Here’s how:
- Give us separate numbers for children
- Ensure the menu has a vegan option
- Plan somewhere covered for guests to eat if it rains
- Put any allergies in writing for us
We arrive early enough to set up calmly. All we need is someone to show us the agreed spot.
Burrito bowls suit guests who’d rather skip the tortilla, and they’re easy to adapt for different diets.

Working with your venue
Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.
For larger events, we plan serving points around your timings, so guests are looked after quickly. Tell us how long you have for food and drinks.
What affects the price in Grange
We will give you a clear quote. What affects it most:
- Timings and hours
- Distance and access to the venue
- What the venue already provides
- Serving staff
When you compare quotes, check what each one includes: serving hours, staff, disposables, travel and VAT. Our quote sets out what’s included.
What to tell us
When you contact us, it helps to tell us:
- The venue or postcode
- Any dietary needs and allergies
- How we drive in and where we can park
- Roughly how many adults and children
It’s easy to get a price: tell us the date, place, numbers and any dietary needs. We’ll send you a clear quote.
Can I do a taco night myself?
Not sure whether to do it yourself or book a caterer? Consider your numbers, your guests’ diets and your own time. Contact us for a quote to compare.
You can set up your own drinks table, but someone still has to mix, pour and keep an eye on it all evening. See our margarita bar guide.
The menu, item by item
Loaded nachos

A quesadilla is an easy favourite, and they go down well with children.
Questions from Grange
Could you serve our guests after a service at Church of St Mary Magdalen?
Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. Service would be at the reception venue, not the church. Tell us where the reception will be.
Will you travel to a small place like Grange?
Yes. Villages and hamlets are part of our area, and the main thing is access: tell us about the lane, the gate and the ground.
Is the food made fresh?
We cook to order in our truck or trailer kitchen, or serve from a taco bar. Fillings are slow-cooked beforehand and finished on site.
Do you provide drinks?
Yes, we do. Our drinks bar can be booked on its own or with food. We will check the licensing for alcohol with you.
Can you plan for allergies?
Yes. Tell us about allergies when you book. Under UK rules, caterers must give information on 14 allergens, and we give it for every dish (Food Standards Agency guidance). For severe allergies, please talk to us first.
When should we book?
As early as you can, especially for summer weekends. Ask about your date even if it is soon.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes, with corn tortillas. Corn tortillas are naturally gluten-free, but some fillings, sauces and toppings may not be, so we check every dish and give allergen information.
What can we choose from?
We agree the menu with each client, with fillings such as chicken tinga, carnitas or black beans. Take a look at the sample menu.
The process
On the day, we position the truck or trailer and get the serving area ready. Service starts at the time we have agreed, so everything runs to your schedule. A December event in Grange will be in the dark from about 3:50pm, so choose a spot where guests can see what they’re ordering. In late June, by contrast, daylight lasts until about 9:20pm.
- It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
- You get a suggested menu, with fillings agreed with you, and a quote.
- We check access, power and water with you or the venue.
- We arrive, set up and cook to order, with salsas and guacamole made fresh.
- After service, we clear away and leave the spot tidy.
Before we arrive
- Let us know the timings for the day
- Find out what power and water are available
- Let us know who to talk to on the day

- Access wide and high enough to drive in, with gates and soft lawns checked first
- Power and water arrangements, confirmed with each booking
If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise.
