DIY taco night or a caterer?
DIY catering keeps costs down, but the host spends the party serving. With a caterer, you get the food and drinks without the work.
Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.
Is Mexican catering right for your event?
For food that feels relaxed but generous, tacos, burritos and nachos make a strong choice. Extras, such as more dishes, extra drinks or a longer service, are quoted on request, so you can choose what you need.

Diets, allergies and planning
Most events have a mix of diets. To plan for them:
- Count children separately
- Put guests with severe allergies in touch with us early
- Ask the venue whether food trucks are allowed
- Have a covered area ready in case of rain
We can still serve from the hatch if it rains, but guests will need somewhere covered to eat.
Burrito bowls suit guests who’d rather skip the tortilla.

Can you cater for special diets?
We can. There are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options, and corn tortillas suit gluten-free guests. We give allergen information for every dish.

Fillings are slow-cooked in advance, then finished and kept hot on site. Tortillas are warmed on site, and salsas and guacamole are made fresh.

Our food truck or trailer is a mobile kitchen. We set up at your venue, serve hot food to order and pack down afterwards.

How it works
We arrive in good time before service, set up the truck or trailer and get everything ready. When service opens, guests come up to the hatch or serving table. Planning an evening event in Hollingdean? Sunset is around 8:50pm in late May, 9:15pm at midsummer and 7:05pm in late September. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.
- It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
- We put together a menu around your guests and quote for it.
- Before the day, we agree access, the serving spot, power and water.
- On the day, we set up and serve from the truck or trailer, or from a taco-bar station.
- Once everyone has eaten, we tidy our serving area and head off.
Preparing for the day
- Pick a flat, firm spot for us to park
- Confirm numbers and diets before the day
- Check gates and access routes are wide and high enough
