Mexican catering in Kidmore End

How our Mexican catering works in Kidmore End

We plan each menu with the client, with fillings such as slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, and vegan options like spiced mushrooms or black beans. On the menu are fresh salsas and guacamole, burritos and tacos, which works well for weddings and evening receptions and family celebrations.

In a hamlet or village like Kidmore End, your own garden or a neighbour’s field can make a good venue. Mention gates and soft ground when you get in touch. Every guest is catered for, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free included, with allergen information for everything we serve.

How it works

Serving is quick: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so a crowd is looked after quickly. Afterwards we clear our area. Evenings in Kidmore End stay light until about 9:25pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:10pm. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.

  1. Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
  2. Together we plan a menu around your guests’ diets.
  3. We check the route in and where the truck or trailer will stand.
  4. Guests order at the hatch or build their own at the taco bar.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Should I do it myself?

Plenty of people try a DIY taco night at home. The usual problems are cold tortillas, running out of a popular filling and a host stuck at the stove. If you’d rather enjoy the party, let us serve.

For a small group, a taco night at home can work well. For big numbers or lots of diets, a caterer makes life easier, with allergen information for every dish.

For planners, venues and organisers

Events in public spaces, like parks, usually need permission. We can send what the landowner or council needs from us.

Hosting a party at home? Send a picture of the space and tell us about access, and we will let you know if it’s a good fit.

Diets, allergies and planning

Nearly every event has some special diets. To plan for them:

  • Tell us about coeliac guests, not just gluten-free preferences
  • Check that your venue allows outside caterers and vehicles
  • Put any allergies in writing for us
  • Add a dietary question to your RSVP

Rain doesn’t stop us serving from the truck or trailer, though guests need somewhere under cover to eat.

Add our Mexican drinks bar, with margaritas, Mexican beer and aguas frescas.

Prices and what affects them

Contact us for a quote, and the price is based on:

  • Distance and access to the venue
  • How long we are needed on site
  • The menu you choose
  • What the venue already provides

Pricing depends on the event. A short lunch service for a team is a different job from a full wedding day. Your quote sets it all out.

What we need to know

You don’t need every detail fixed to get a quote, but it helps to know:

  • Your menu ideas
  • Access for the truck or trailer, including gates and ground
  • The address or venue name
  • The date and time of the event
