Mexican catering across Reading

We plan each menu with the client, so fillings might include slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken tinga or beef birria, and vegan options like spiced mushrooms or black beans. We serve tacos, fresh salsas and guacamole and quesadillas, which works well for family celebrations and big birthday celebrations.

Serving is quick: guests are served at the hatch or a serving station, so even a long queue moves. When service ends, we pack down.

  1. Share the date, the venue and how many are coming.
  2. Together we plan a menu around your guests’ diets.
  3. We confirm the way in and where we’ll park.
  4. Guests order at the hatch or build their own at the taco bar.
  5. After the last serving, we clear our area.

Cost

Extra dishes, drinks and longer service are priced on request, so you can choose what you need.

DIY taco night or a caterer?

You can host your own taco night for a crowd, but it takes planning. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.

Is Mexican catering right for you?

Cold buffets are easy, but the food sits out. Tacos and burritos are made to order and served hot.

Questions to ask before you book

  • The deadline for final numbers
  • How dietary needs and allergies are handled
  • The wet-weather plan
  • The deposit and payment dates

Before you choose a spot

Everything is served from our food truck or trailer, so where we park matters. These are the things we check:

  • A clear area in front of the hatch for a queue
  • Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
  • Level, firm ground or hardstanding for the truck or trailer

Diets, allergies and planning

A little planning makes sure everyone can eat. Try these:

  • Send allergy details to us in writing
  • Count children separately
  • Put guests with severe allergies in touch with us early
  • Have a covered area ready in case of rain

For a taco bar, we lay the fillings, salsas and toppings out on a table, and guests help themselves.

A tray of loaded nachos works well to start.

Popular choices

Tacos

Street tacos are small, quick and full of flavour. We serve them with salsas and toppings.

Quesadillas

Tortillas filled with melted cheese and a filling, toasted until crisp, cut into wedges.
