Mexican catering for Little Horsted events
Mexican catering in Little Horsted, served fresh
We bring our food truck or trailer to events in and around Little Horsted: private gardens, venue grounds, courtyards and fields. At festivals, fairs and markets and christenings and family parties, we will put together a menu of fresh salsas and guacamole, tacos and burrito bowls.
Somewhere as small as Little Horsted, a garden or field is often the venue. Tell us about narrow lanes, gates and long drives and we will plan for them, and firm ground matters, especially after rain. We turn up ready to serve, and tidy our own area afterwards.

Catering for every guest
We cater for vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free guests. To make it work smoothly:
- Collect dietary needs when guests reply
- Let us know if a guest is coeliac
- Check that your venue allows outside caterers and vehicles
- Have a covered area ready in case of rain
For a taco bar, we lay the fillings, salsas and toppings out on a table, and guests help themselves.
Extra salsas and toppings can widen the choice.
Space, access and the venue
Every venue is different, so we ask about the space before we confirm. Generally, we look for:
- A flat, firm spot where the truck or trailer can stand
- Power and water, which we confirm with you for each booking
- Room for a queue in front of the serving hatch
If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and the access, and we will advise.

For planners, venues and organisers
Wedding planners and venue coordinators are welcome to contact us directly, and we’ll keep you updated on timings and set-up.
Venues often have their own rules about outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Send us your venue’s requirements and we will follow them.
What happens on the day
We need a level, firm spot we can drive the truck or trailer onto, with power and water arrangements agreed beforehand. Send us a photo of the space if you are unsure. Evenings in Little Horsted stay light until about 9:15pm in June, but by late September sunset is around 7:05pm. Festoon lights or floodlights help once it gets dark.
- It begins with the basics: your date, venue, guest numbers and dietary needs.
- We put together a menu around your guests and quote for it.
- Together we confirm where the truck or trailer will park, plus power and water.
- On the day, we set up and serve from the truck or trailer, or from a taco-bar station.
- When service ends, we pack down and clear our area.
Before we arrive

Why choose Mexican catering in Little Horsted?
Compared with a hog roast or barbecue, Mexican street food is easier for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests, thanks to separate fillings and toppings. A food truck can be a practical alternative to plated catering, because it needs no venue kitchen. Ask us for a quote.

Common questions in Little Horsted
We’re having a ceremony at The Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels: can you cater afterwards?
Yes, at a nearby garden, marquee or hall with access for the truck or trailer. We’d serve at the reception venue rather than at the church itself. Tell us where the reception will be.
Will you travel to a small place like Little Horsted?
Yes, small places are no problem, given access. Let us know about access and parking for the truck or trailer.
What about power on site?
Tell us what the site has, such as a supply from the venue near where we will park, and we will confirm the arrangements with your quote.
What food do you serve?
Every menu is agreed with you, with fillings such as carnitas, chicken tinga, beef birria or spiced mushrooms. Take a look at the sample menu.
Do you cater for big events?
That depends on the event. Most bookings fall around 50 to 400 guests, but tell us your numbers and we’ll plan around them.
Can we have a build-your-own taco bar?
We can. A build-your-own taco bar can be served from the truck or a serving station, with fillings, salsas, guacamole and toppings. Read our taco bar guide.
Can you come to a private house?
Yes, as long as there is access and a level, firm spot. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes.
Do you do margaritas?
Yes. The drinks bar can be added to food or booked on its own, with alcohol-free options such as aguas frescas. For alcohol, we will check the licensing with you and your venue.
DIY taco night or a caterer?
Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Contact us for a quote to compare.
A DIY taco night is possible for a crowd, but it’s more work than it looks. Fillings need slow cooking, tortillas need warming as you go, and salsas need making. Our taco bar guide explains how.
