Mexican catering for Marchwood events

Dietary needs and planning tips

Most events have a mix of diets. To cater well for them:

  • Put any allergies in writing for us
  • Count children separately
  • Tell us about coeliac guests, not just gluten-free preferences
  • Check that your venue allows outside caterers and vehicles

When service ends, we pack down and clear our area quietly.

Burrito bowls suit guests who’d rather skip the tortilla, and they’re easy to adapt for different diets.

Mexican catering for your event in Marchwood

We bring our food truck or trailer to events in and around Marchwood: private gardens, venue grounds, courtyards and fields, as long as there’s safe access. It suits staff parties and office lunches and school fairs and fundraisers, serving fresh salsas and guacamole, quesadillas and a build-your-own taco bar.

In and around Marchwood, gardens and local halls are common choices. If the road in is narrow or the ground is soft, tell us so we can plan for the truck or trailer. We arrive ready to serve, and clear our own area when service is finished.

Marchwood: your questions answered

Which station is closest to Marchwood?

The closest is Millbrook (Hants) station, roughly 1.6 miles away.

Do you come to events in the New Forest National Park?

We do, where the venue allows a catering vehicle. Lanes can be narrow and ground soft, so tell us how we’d get in.

Is the food very hot?

It’s up to you: we can keep it mild and put the hotter salsas on the side.

Do you need power and water?

Let us know what’s available on site, for instance a supply from the venue, and we’ll confirm what we need with your quote.

Who clears up?

We pack down and tidy our own area after service. For anything beyond that, such as guests’ tables, ask us.

How many guests can you cater for?

Our service usually suits around 50 to 400 guests. Bigger festivals and smaller parties are looked at case by case.

Can you come to a private house?

Yes, if the truck or trailer can get in and park on level, firm ground. Tell us about the drive, gates and any slopes, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it works.

How much does Mexican catering cost in Marchwood?

The price depends on numbers, menu, service time and where your event is. Contact us for a quote.

Before you choose a spot

Plenty of outdoor spaces and venues work for us, but a few things matter:

  • Hardstanding or firm, level ground to park on
  • The venue’s or landowner’s permission for a catering vehicle
  • Some distance from houses and neighbours

If you’re unsure, send a picture of the space and the way in, and we’ll say what we think before you book.

Organising for someone else?

Many venues have rules for outside caterers: vehicle access, arrival times and documents. Tell us what your venue needs and we will work to it.

If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a festival organiser, we’re happy to deal with you and the venue directly. It saves passing messages back and forth.

DIY taco night versus a caterer

Weighing up a DIY taco night against a caterer? Think about numbers, diets and how much you want to enjoy the day. Ask us for a quote and compare.

Some hosts like to do it themselves. Common snags are cold tortillas, uneven quantities and the host missing the party. If you’d rather be with your guests, we will do the serving.

Is Mexican catering right for your event?

If you want food that feels relaxed without being basic, a taco bar or a menu of tacos, burritos and nachos is hard to beat for your event in Marchwood. Extras, such as more dishes, extra drinks or a longer service, are quoted on request, so you choose what goes in.

Why book with us

  • Quick, friendly service from the hatch
  • Access, space and power checked in advance

The process

The truck or trailer needs a level, firm spot with access to drive in, and we agree power and water arrangements before the day. A photo of the space helps.
